Hahndorf is a pretty town and the Old Mill is nicely positioned close to an array of dining options and shops. Accessing our upstairs room was like being in Fawlty Towers but it is an old building so some quirkiness can be expected. Our room overlooked the street and was generally ok. But the shower door was broken and the shower arm was not strong enough to stay horizontal when the shower was turned on and slumped downwards. The bed is on the hard side. We had dinner here and it was good.

Sarah who works there is one of the loveliest people I’ve come across. Housekeeping excellent. Rooms old and dated but comfortable. Walls are paper thin you can hear everything your neighbours are doing and saying
