The apartment was perfectly located for restaurants and The Adelaide Botanic Garden. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and parking was nearby. Communication was excellent and they even allowed us to check in early.
Family of four with two four year olds, stayed for five nights. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Apartment is virtually brand new abs in great condition.
Pros:
- Great location for the Adelaide Fringe, free bus
- Comfortable pillows and plenty of linens
- two queen sized beds and a sofa bed in lounge
- well stocked, some tea, jam, washing detergent etc provided
Cons:
- Balcony door jammed
- If Iâm being really picky, the sofa bed was not entirely stable. Was advertised as two twin beds and one queen (not two queens). Floor could have done with a mop and vacuum under furniture. All these are only if Iâm being very picky!
While only on level 3 it is actually up 6 stories as the building carpark is between ground and 3. So the city view and breeze was very nice. It had a very large balcony. Fully equipped inside with dishwasher and washing machine and dryer. Good block-out blinds. Security on building is excellent. Parking was next door in a Wilsons carpark. Very well situated between the East End and Hutt St eating strips and a 10 minute walk into the center of the city. Only downside that I can see is that in high summer you need better blinds even though there are 3 aircon units.
There's so much to love about this apartment!
PROS:
- New, modern and beautifully styled furnishings
- Really well appointed - excellent selection of crockery, cutlery, utensils and cookware
- Brilliant extra features such as unlimited wifi, tv with built in smart apps/Chromecast, plenty of storage, basics supplied (pantry staples, toilet paper, washing up items, laundry items, shower products), full laundry.
- Stunning view over the city
- Exceptionally convenient location - walking distance to Rundle Mall, museums, botanic gardens, zoo and public transport. Supermarkets and convenience stores within easy access
CONS/NEEDS IMPROVEMENT:
- Cleaning could have been a little better (some marks on bedding, floors/windows/cupboards dirty)
- A laundry basket would be helpful
- A welcome pack/book would be helpful to work out how to use wifi/appliances, what's in the area, where rubbish goes etc
- Parking was really difficult to locate and not specific to the unit as was suggested in the booking - nonetheless, we called Wilsons parking to ensure we wouldn't get a ticket for being out of the designated bays and had no issues for our stay. This might need to be better clarified/explained. Similarly, the building number doesn't match up with what's visible on the street.
- A second set of keys would be helpful in case people want to go out separately.
Overall, a wonderful spot to base our family for 11 nights. Suggested improvements are only minor in an otherwise exceptional stay!
