Plus, with Midtown Ruidoso only 12 minutes away, you're close to the area's best food, beer, wine, theatre, horse racing, casinos, and shopping.

This stunning home comfortably accommodates up to 8 adults, with a king bed, queen bed, full bed, and two twin beds across three bedrooms, plus 2.5 bathrooms. The Master Suite is a luxurious haven with a Roku Smart TV, private deck access, and a full soaking tub. The open floor plan is highlighted by a fully remodeled kitchen—a chef's dream—featuring brand-new stainless steel appliances, a Keurig coffee maker with pods, and all the cooking utensils you need to whip up memorable meals.

Gather around the huge dining table for 8, whether for meals or lively card games. The propane gas grill (propane provided) on the deck is perfect for outdoor cooking, and the washer and dryer ensure added convenience. Enjoy Wi-Fi and Roku Smart TV's for entertainment, or simply relax by the wood-burning fireplace indoors. Firewood is available at nearby grocery and convenience stores.

Step out onto one of two spacious decks to unwind and take in the crisp mountain air while observing the daily visits from elk, deer, and other wildlife. Please Note: This cabin DOES NOT have AC. The gravel driveway can accommodate up to four mid-size vehicles. Please take note that this property is in a mountainous area. Road inclines vary and a few are unpaved. The city does plow all neighboring roads, but 4-wheel drive and/or chains during the snowy season are recommended.

Ruidoso, Alto, and surrounding areas: Submerse yourself within the towering pines of Lincoln County and watch local wildlife such as elk, deer, wild horses, turkey, birds, and more in their natural habitats. Plan a day basking in the stillness of our national forest while hiking, biking, or fishing, golfing at one of our multiple golf courses or spend a fun night out on the town at one of the area's local attractions! Be sure to swim or fish at the beautiful Grindstone or Alto Lake, delight your senses at Winter Park with roller coaster and tubing, and explore the ski slopes and hiking trails throughout Ski Apache. Win big at one of our three local casinos and enjoy the excitement of live quarter horse racing at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack. Be happy you took a respite from the concrete jungle. Please Note: This home is dog-friendly with a limit of 2 dogs. A pet fee of $50.00 (plus tax) per pet applies. Please let us know if you'll be bringing your furry friend so we can make the necessary arrangements. For their safety and comfort, pets are required to be kenneled when left alone in all of our pet-friendly cabins.

Therefore, be advised that our cancellation policy, in-house policies, and procedures may differ from VRBO. All guests will receive our Guest License Agreement that outlines our policies and procedures and are asked to initial and e-sign before receiving their rental information (address and access code). We ask that you please read our policies as we will adhere to them once you've booked your reservation with us (even when booking through a 3rd party entity).

The fine print, what to expect: Our cabins include basic cable, satellite or streaming television, basic cooking utensils, propane gas grill (propane provided), washer and dryer (if applicable- please look at the amenities), towels and bed linens for guest use along with heating for winter. Our homes come equipped with either a drip or Keurig coffee maker. *Linens and bath towels *Extra blankets and bedding *Spa towels for properties with spas/hot tubs. While our kitchens are fully equipped with glassware/cookware/utensils/dishes, etc. this does not ensure that all homes will have a blender, crock pot, spices, coffee, or condiments. Please call ahead to confirm if items such as these are available. If not, we ask that you bring your own. Basic toiletries in the Master bathroom only are: *One (1) travel-sized each of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap, and facial bar soap, *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on the holder and two (2) stored in the bathroom. Basic toiletries in all additional bathrooms (if applicable) are: *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on the holder and two (2) stored in the bathroom, *one (1) travel-sized bar soap and/or facial soap, *one (1) hairdryer in the home. Basic supplies in the home: *five (5) All-Clear laundry pods, *dish detergent in pod or liquid form (quantities may vary and/or be limited), and three (3) Lemi Shine rinse agent in single-use cups (for homes with dishwashers), *liquid dish soap in (at minimum) a partial container (may only be in homes without dishwashers- check amenities to ensure the home you booked has a dishwasher), *two to three (2-3) rolls of paper towels, *two (2) trash liners in each waste basket; one (1) prepared in a basket and at least one (1) in the bottom or under the sink. We encourage guests to please be mindful of the supplies we provide and always bring extras as housekeeping does not deliver more than what is required to be left in the homes. We highly encourage guests to be prepared with access to chains and/or 4-wheel drive in winter months. Firewood is not provided for homes with wood-burning fireplaces.
