We really enjoyed our stay. Such an ideal location- close to town with lots of good walks/trails nearby. The apartment had everything we needed from kitchen stuff to games. The shared garden was lovey with great views and the apartment was nice and clean. Highly recommend!

Some reviews of this cottage I feel were very unfair, it's very well equipped , lovely and clean with stunning views.All the equipment worked perfectly. Yes the parking is tight but with care and following the advice to reverse in we had no issues.Overall very happy and would recommend it to anybody that was looking for a base to explore the lakes.

A convenient location close to centre of Ambleside. Nice views and a shared garden. Bathroom was not a clean as I would expect though rest of property was fine. Disadvantage was no wifi especially as all other properties in the block did. Quite expensive though this may have been due to covid pushing up prices. The heating took quite a lot of working out and remote for wall heater was broken with no battery. Only little niggles though and we enjoyed our time there. We had a good few days here and were lucky with the weather.

We had a good few days here and were lucky with the weather. The cottage is quite small but the layout is well planned to make the best use of the space available. If we had had a cold wet week coping with the dog in the small space might have been an issue ,although access to the garden is really easy through the French windows.The views are absolutely stunning right across the valley. It’s a 10-15 minute walk into Ambleside where there are a growing number of dog friendly eateries

Very well equipped apartment, great location, only downside was lack of soundproofing from upstairs apartment. Also used to superking bed at home so found double bed too small. Oh and the smoke alarms went off when cooking anything under the grill despite the extractor!! Thankful for the local information provided in the apartment walks, maps, games, all very useful. Overall though very pleased with the accommodation and in a beautiful peaceful area, just a few minutes walk into the centre of Ambleside. Steep walk to and from town.
