The staff was great but supposed to be a chalkenge. Tried to get my coffee to go and they were out of lids for the cups, ordered the signature cocktail but they didn’t have the ingredients to make it, asked for a different one and bartender said she did have those supplies but it wasn’t in her register so she couldn’t ring it up so she could not make it. Left to go to another establishment for a cocktail

The staff was Friendly, supportive and easy-going. We enjoyed them. The main problem is the cleaning. We asked for it to be done daily, and it did not happen, only once during the three days we were there with them. It’s not only having clean towels, but the rest of the room it would have been great to come back for trips and find it clean and Homie.

I stayed at the CitizenM Amstel property in June 2025 for 2 nights. The room was larger than other hotel rooms I’ve experienced in Amsterdam. The air conditioner worked tremendously well which I find rare for Europe. The room was VERY clean (I’m very picky about cleanliness) and VERY quiet (I had a room overlooking the garden). The location isn’t super walkable to many of the tourist attractions, but it is next to the bus / metro which allows for easy transport between neighborhoods. The lobby had a nice bar area and offered a filtered water spout with carafes to take to your room. They also had free umbrellas which is very handy in Amsterdam. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone who is looking for a clean, safe and reasonably priced hotel and doesn’t mind jumping on the bus or metro to get to some of the main tourist sites.

The staff here really made this stay a great experience. Always ready to help in any way possible. Also the rooms are small but the have everything you need and they are quiet. The location is a big plus, with 2 great dining options - one on each side of the hotel. I will stay here again.
