Home on a Full Acre in the Pines
Enjoy all Angel Fire has to offer with your family or group while staying in the pines on a full-acre property at Mountain Acre. The spacious property provides many trees, mountain views, and privacy. This five-bedroom house including a bunk room sleeps up to twelve. It is 4 miles from the Angel Fire Resort ski area, 2.9 miles from Angel Fire Country Club and one mile to the boathouse at Monte Verde Lake. A short drive off Highway 434, the driveway to the house has lots of parking with easy access.
At the entry is a covered deck with seating for four, perfect for enjoying the surrounding pines and watching the local wildlife. The front door opens into the main living area which features a cathedral wood ceiling with beams, a wall of windows providing beautiful light and views, and a large open plan making it perfect for everyone to gather. The open plan area includes a spacious kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and custom cabinets. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare and enjoy wonderful family meals, as well as a large island that seats four. Beyond the kitchen is the dining area which provides seating for eight. The living area has a sofa that seats three and two easy chairs, a flat-screen smart TV, and a gas wood stove. Sliding glass doors take you out to the deck with a table, chairs, charcoal grill, and smoker, the perfect place to barbeque and take in the wonderful mountain air and views.
To the right of the main room is the primary suite. There is a king bed with a desk and a flat-screen smart TV. The connecting bathroom has a walk-in shower, dual-sink vanity, and walk-in closet. This room also features a view north towards Wheeler Peak. To the left of the main room is a spacious full guest bath with a shower/tub combination and two guest bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other a queen bed. There is also a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer.
Stairs lead down to the garage, which has been furnished as a game room. Guests can enjoy foosball, ping pong, darts, basketball arcade game, horseshoes and cornhole.
The unique downstairs suite is accessed through the garage. It has its own living area with a flat-screen TV equipped with Roku and a bar kitchen with refrigerator and combination convection oven/microwave. There is a guest bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk room with two twin/twin bunk beds and en suite bathroom with shower stall. Puzzles and games are provided for plenty of family fun.
Mountain Acre offers the possibility of renting just the top floor, which would be a three-bedroom/two bath rental sleeping six, or just the ground floor suite, which will sleep up to six. Please contact us if this is of interest.
WiFi and high-speed internet is provided. Pack and plays and high chairs are available on request for an additional fee, as available.
There is a short flight of stairs to access the front door.
Access to this home requires 4-wheel drive in the winter months.

PARKING: The driveway will accommodate up to four vehicles.
POOL AND FITNESS: The indoor pool and fitness center at the Angel Fire Country Club are available for a daily/weekly/monthly fee. The indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center at the Lodge at Angel Fire Resort is not available for public use.

Check-in is available after 4 p.m. at the front desk of the Lodge at Angel Fire Resort, 10 Miller Lane, Angel Fire, NM. Please return keys/fobs to the front desk by 10 a.m. for check-out.
Because Angel Fire does not have residential trash pickup, trash from homes must be taken to the Recycling Center by guests. Dumpsters are available at condos but may be full at peak periods. There is a map to the Recycling Center in your guestbook. Please do not leave any trash outside as the wildlife will open the bags.
Smoking is not permitted on our properties.
Pets are ONLY allowed in designated pet-friendly homes.
4WD or AWD vehicles are required for our homes during the winter months (November-March). It is not required to access the condos in the village, but if you are not used to winter driving, please be prepared for difficult driving conditions and use caution.
