Great weekend at a surprise gem. We booked for the zoo but our favorite times were at this lovely home. We enjoyed the outdoor space including the fire pit and picnic area. But of course, the highlight was the adorable and friendly farm animals. Highly recommend this home. We will definitely be back!

Lovely home with everything we needed for our stay. Perfect location for visiting the NC zoo and Seagrove. Highlights were the farm animals (cows, donkey, pig, goats and chickens!), the fire pit, and bunnies and friendly barn cats in the yard. Highly recommend for guests of all ages. My mom (83) absolutely loved the experience. Very memorable.

We had a lovely stay at Cellar Creek Farms—thank you for sharing your wonderful property. The house was exactly as advertised: clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.As fellow farm dwellers, we especially enjoyed spending time with the animals. Feeding treats to the Highland cows, goats, pig, and the donkey was a highlight—though the donkey (true to form!) clearly believed all attention should be reserved just for him. We only wish we had known some of their names!The location was perfect as well—so convenient to the zoo and close to Asheboro.Thank you again for a relaxing and memorable visit—we hope to be back!

Our family had a wonderful time. The house is very nice and so convenient to explore all that the surrounding area has to offer. The NC Zoo is close by and the Children’s Museum in Greensboro was a lot of fun. The kids favorite part of the stay was seeing and feeding the cows, donkey, goats, and pig each day. The owner is very kind and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the farm tour and learning about the different animals. I highly recommend this unique experience. We would love to visit again, this time in the Fall.

Michael was very accommodating to our schedule because we were in town for a soccer tournament. The house is adorable, comfortable, clean and has everything you'd need. The farm animals were such a fun bonus! My kids loved feeding them, playing in the creek and running around the yard. We will absolutely stay again if we are in town!

This is such a a sweet place! The outside is modest in appearance, but the covered patio and the fire pit were lovely and restful, and the inside was so pretty. Clean, beautifully decorated, gorgeous bathrooms, and plenty of space. And ANIMALS! Oh, my goodness, if you have ever dreamed of feeding Highland cows...book this rental! And it's less than 20 minutes from the city, but feels like a quiet sanctuary. The stars were beautiful and it was so peaceful at night. The owners were very quick to respond when I emailed a question about running the washing machine. Everything worked properly and we had no problems. Will absolutely consider staying again!

Cute, Quiet and Clean

This was the perfect little get-a-way house for our family. It was actually much larger than it appeared in the listing and we were very comfortable. As others have mentioned, it was very clean! We appreciated having the animal crackers to feed the animals that are right in front of the house. Cute as can be!! We also appreciated the suggestions in the information book for places to eat. The Table was great for breakfast. It is a VERY relaxing place! At night, it is so quiet and it gets so dark outside. We slept very well during our stay. We will definitely consider staying here again when we are in the area.

Wow! I can’t say enough about this wonderful property! Our family was in town for our uncle’s funeral, we wanted a place to gather and fellowship, Cellar Creek Farms was perfect! The hosts were responsive and kind, the animals were engaging and fun, and the property was beautiful and serene!

Zoo Trip

Great trip, great property, very much enjoyed the farm animals, definite hit with the grandsons. Floor vents are not secure and with two young children we had to be extremely careful not to trip and fall, suggest they be correctly installed before next guests arrive other than that the stay was perfect!
