"The hotel is beautiful, and we had a wonderful overall experience. I have just a couple of small suggestions that may help make an already excellent stay even better. First, I would encourage the hotel to check the door-closing mechanisms in the guest rooms. The doors close automatically, but they tend to close quite loudly, which can create a fair amount of noise, particularly in the morning as guests are leaving their rooms. Adjusting the mechanism so the doors close more softly could make a noticeable difference for guests who are still sleeping. My second suggestion relates to the use of fragrances throughout the hotel. My wife actually enjoyed the scent, but I found it somewhat strong and, at times, a little overwhelming. Perhaps the fragrance could be toned down slightly, simply recognizing that guests have different sensitivities and preferences when it comes to strong scents. These are both relatively minor suggestions. Overall, we really enjoyed the hotel and were very impressed with the property, service, and experience."
