Lovely holiday in coastal Sicily, nice pool and living area, but overall it needs lots of upkeep
We had a lovely week in Sicily at the villa. It location is amidst a private holiday community that is right on the coast. It was a very short walk down the hill to the sea. There is also a nice restaurant/bar at the area entrance (Rey Sol).
However there were a few things that didn't quite hit the spot. Part of the villa was closed off to us, so it only slept 8 and not 10 as advertised. There was no internet connection which was not clear in the description.
The villa was colourful, although not that clean or well maintained: dusty floors and kitchen equipment, slightly tatty or broken fixings. The outside cooking and eating area was not in a ready state to be used.
On the plus side, the main styled living area was great and the pool was brilliant to have.
With some simple uplifting this place could indeed be amazing again.
