Such a great place to stay. We have been to Austin 5 times and always stay here.. Rainey St. walkable good food and drinks. A short uber ride downtown. Staff is great, rooms are amazing. Wouldn't stay anywhere else..

We had a great stay! Rainey street is a block away and we were able to walk to multiple different food and bar locations. Room was clean and ac was cold. There was some weird rust colored liquid coming through the tile in the bathroom which was concerning but there was no smell associated with it and it was an extremely slow leak. We placed a towel over the floor and went about our day.

This was a very pleasant day. We had an excellent view of the New Year’s drone display and fireworks on the river from our room facing the river room number 1524 is awesome.

I found the lighting in the room to be dark. It was not convenient to read. The lighting in the bathroom was also rather dark. I understand the need for lights that turn off automatically when there's no sensing of motion in the room, but that was frustrating when I was sitting quietly trying to read. Even though I do not need to be in an assisted living facilities, it would be nice to have grab bars or handles in the bathroom, particularly in the shower. The lounge chair was a bit awkward to sit in. I would have preferred a conventional chair that would be comfortable to sit in, perhaps with an ottoman. Location of the hotel was very convenient to my son's residence. That was a big plus. The valet area is a bit small and was easily congested at high traffic times when people were trying to get in and out.
