Stay @ the TREEHOUSE! 4 bedroom+game room+huge backyard
Visiting Austin? Stay at the Tree House in Round Rock. Beautifully updated 4 bedroom, 2.5 baths home- super cozy, relaxing and clean. Only minutes from Kalahari Reports, DT Round Rock & about 30 min to Austin, shopping (Domain is a MUST!), festivals such as SXSW and ACL and lots of dining. 25 Min drive to Two Step Inn. Take a drive to Lake Travis and have some fun in the water- only a 40min drive! Or visit Magnolia Market in Waco from Fixer upper- 1:20 mins away.
The property was everything as advertised. Check in was smooth. The host checked in making sure all was good...and it was. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc were well stocked and the light switches were nicely labeled. Will stay there again if we get up that way at a later date. Highly recommend The Tree house.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the treehouse. This home was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of fun games for the kids. There were so many little extras that were appreciated as well, such as the USB plugs/outlets by each bed, extra cleaning supplies, I didnât need to cook full meals, but it looked like there was plenty of cookware and utensils. Best part was the responsive owners/managers. Anytime I had a question/concernâŠan expedient reply was received. We would definitely come back here.
This was a great place to stay with friends for a weekend conference. The entertainment was awesome and the hosts were graceful with our requests. Would stay here again!
We had continuing education requirements at the Kalahari and the hotel was sold out. Found the Treehouse and booked. Wonderful property, well maintained and very convenient to the Convention Center. Would prefer this over staying on property. Easily accommodated 4 adults and would work for up to 6. House has more bedrooms, but the limited bathrooms would make more than 6 uncomfortable.
The house is as itâs described and pictured. Easy access to activities in and out of the neighborhood. Nice 1st floor for eating and gathering. Nice big private back yard. Our 2nd time to stay here and would recommend it
Very well maintained home, owners responsive and helpful
Very clean, had everything we needed, cute, comfortable and spacious. Shower water pressure is exceptional. Fully stocked kitchen. Owners very helpful and responsive. Two unexpected things about the property that I kind of wish I knew ahead of time. There is about a 10 degree difference in temp from the second floor to the first floor. It was very cold in Austin when we were there and when you turn on the heat it gets very hot upstairs and stays very cold downstairs. You go from being too hot to needing a coat in a trip from one floor the other. This property also sits on a very loud and busy street AND is very close to a busy and loud railroad track that has trains that pass all day and all night that blows it horn very long and loud at the crossing right next to the neighborhood. It is impossible to sleep without very good ear plugs. The windows are not very thick so you literally hear every single sound so just be prepared for that.
House is beautiful! Very clean and well maintained. Location was perfect for activities nearby and only about 30 minutes from Austin. Some street noise, but nothing that impacted our stay. Hosts were attentive and communication was great. We would stay again!
Love Round Rock area. Close enough to Austin without the hussle and bussle. Plenty of shopping and dining nearby. Very close to beautiful St William Church where we went to Christmas mass. The sofa in the living room could be a little more comfortable, but not a big deal.
This place was great. Close to a park and walking trail. Also super easy to get to all the town things/food. Had everything we needed and more. Kids loved the garage play room.
We stayed for a soccer tournament. House was rear of adults and kids. Owners were extremely responsive and accommodating when weather impacted our travel plans.
I traveled to Austin to visit with my brother and his wife and family for Thanksgiving and we stayed at Treehouse. The home was absolutely beautiful, you could smell the cleanliness ,and had everything I needed for my family we enjoyed ourselves there so much.. The best highlight for me was the Master bathroom Shower pressure was amazing and exactly what I needed from a long trip from Kansas City Mo ,and Long bittersweet moments creating new memories at my brother's house.I would like to add we captured beautiful family photos in the Treehouse backyard.... Backyard was absolutely maintained and perfect for memories to capture...I would definitely stay at this home again for sure...2 Thumbs up for the Host for getting things handled so quickly for us my family appreciated it.
We traveled to Austin from Oklahoma City and we instantly loved the house from the first view! Very nice and clean from the inside and well enough space for all of us to accommodate ourselves. The host's are so nice and communication was fast and reliable. We loved staying at the Treehouse and look forward to our next trip down south!
It was only my second stay in a VRBO listing but this place exceeded my expections. It was immaculate. I loved the layout. Even though the road it butts up to has alot of traffic, I didnât find the sound problematic. The Gregorys were wonderful to communicate with from beginning to end. They even dropped off a sweet treat from RR Donuts.
We were here for a conference at Kalahari. I sure hope the conference is here again next year because I know where we are staying if it is. Loved this place.
Awesome experience. Perfect location right down the road from Kalahari and other local destinations. Home was newly updated, very clean and nicely decorated with an assortment of necessities provided to make the stay feel like a home away from home. Beds were also very comfortable. Fast and friendly communication with Laila the Host. Would highly recommend if you are in the area and need a safe and luxurious place to stay with friends or family!
This property is just drop dead gorgeous! So much attention to detail in comfort and decor. The owner was always very quick to respond. The home is even more impressive in person! It has very comfortable beds and linens. I appreciated the coffee maker with creamers and assorted sugars. Soaps and shampoos etc. the garage game room is fun and the home has a great layout. Only 4 of us stayed so one room wasnât used. The master bedroom is HUGE! And an attached en suite bathroom and large walk in closet. Beautiful furnishings and very cool pendant lamps throughout. The list goes on and on about the great features. But itâs worth noting that while itâs on a beautiful and quiet street, but the back two bedrooms (including the master) face the back of the house which has a busy street. And that constant sound of traffic kept me awake much of the first night. The owners mentioned that they plan to install double paned windows in the near future and that should take care of the issue. Until then, Iâd suggest bringing some earplugs to block the traffic noise. That being said, after the first night, we switched to one of the bedrooms that faces the quiet street and I slept well. You do hear traffic in the part of the house that faces the backyard. So probably double paned windows throughout is the perfect solution. Because of the noise issue, I would opt not to spend time in the backyard. But if you arenât sensitive to the noise, then it wonât be a problem. Everything else was perfect!!
I stayed here with my husband and our two college age children for a family vacation. We loved everything about the house and enjoyed the game room one afternoon that was too hot to be out. The towels and sheets are high quality and the beds and furniture are comfortable. We didn't cook but there were plenty of plates, utensils, glasses, mugs, etc and a coffee maker with plenty of pods for our five day stay, and sweeteners and cream.
We saw the state capitol building, walked around the UT campus, saw the Blanton Art Museum, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, a glassblowing demonstration at Wimberley Glassworks, toured Natural Bridge Caverns, and spent a day in San Antonio at the Japanese Tea Garden, the Alamo, and the Riverwalk. It was easy to get around from the house. Highly recommend!
