Vail mountain house! 5 bedrooms plus loft. Hot tub!
Amazing mountain house close to Vail and Beaver Creek. Great open floor plan with a large kitchen and main room. Five bedrooms and a bunk bedroom sleeps up to 16 guests. This house has just been fully remodeled so everything is brand new. It is remodeled in a very modern, clean style that is trendy and not rustic. The kitchen is large and has two ovens for cooking a meal for everyone. The large eat in counter has seating for 5. The front patio is oversized and has a large seating area with big couches. There is also a concrete dinning table that seats 8-10. The views are amazing and the sunsets are worthy of pictures. The house is about 2500 square feet and the big open main room makes a great gathering place. The Eagle Vail golf clubhouse is around the corner. The Eagle Vail trail is at the top of the hill. The community pool is at the bottom of the hill. Vail is 9 minute drive and Beaver Creek is 8 minutes.
The front porch dinning table also serves as a ping pong table. There is a great hot tub up high on the hill. It is private surrounded by fir trees.
Here are the sleeping arrangements detailed: On the main floor is the master bedroom that has a king bed and a queen pull out couch. The other main floor bedroom/den has a queen Murphy bed. This room only has a small cabinet, no closet. Upstairs are three bedrooms. Two have queen beds and one has a custom bunk bed with four single beds. Then there is the small bunk room on the main floor with three single beds. A total of 5 bedrooms and a small room with a door with 3 single beds.
For parking, there is space for four cars in the driveway. In the winter the driveway is steep and icy so you will need four-wheel-drive to get up it. This property is located in a high alpine environment so expect snow, ice, cold extremes and slippery surfaces.
Our group of ski friends had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect, property well kept and everything was as advertised. When a minor issue arose, the owner was very responsive and it was corrected quickly. This property will stay on our preferred list for future trips to the area! Highly recommend!
We were excited to find a place that could accommodate or group of five without excess unused rooms, for our annual snowboarding trip. Unfortunately a number of serious lapses made or stay mediocre instead of memorable.Letâs start with a positive. Great communication and direction to the property, which is located in the Hills of Beavercreek. The view from the front porch was beautiful, especially with the fresh powder that coincided with arrival. Having a large open concept kitchen, which floated into the living room and dining room, made it the preferred gathering spot for our group chats and dinners. Now the issues:1. Upon arrival, we discovered towels stuffed in one of the bedroom drawers. Not just any towel towels, but towels soiled with heavy menstrual blood that smelled. Upon bagging and disposing of it ourselves in the garbage bin outside we notified the host. The response was.â sorry, we did not have the cleaning people check the drawersâ. Nothing else!2. This place severely lacks proper cleaning. Built up cobweb and dust on the fans, and decorative accessories. Soiled chairs etc. 3. We can see an honest attempt at home reno, but result is more of a disaster. Unpatched holes that are cut in the walls and ceilings., 30% of recessed lights do not work, switches that do nothing, worn out counter stools, no covering over bathroom window that looks out into the backyard, etc. 4. The most annoying issue was the lack of reliable Wi-Fi. That is all.
We had a good stay. However, make sure to be prepared for the very steep driveway and most likely ( our case) wasn't shoveled. We showed up and couldn't make it up the driveway. We had to shovel for 30-45mins. A lot of ice under as well, so just be warned and be careful in the winter. 3 of us feel really hard walking up the driveway on thick ice. The hot tub was great, but again, the pathway has 1 foot of snow covering it and a bit icy. Again, this was just our experience and they may shovel for the next group.. but just a warning. The space and house was excellent!
The property is spacious and undergone remodeling , especially the first floor. We had a big group and we didnât have any space issues. The only negative is the driveway wasnât plowed well and area around hot tub was covered in snow. It was hard to park two-wheel drive cars and very slippery to walk. we only used hot tub once because it was so much snow and ice around it.
