Woodcroft Holiday Cottage in Ayr is set within the lawned, west-facing walled garden of our own Victorian sandstone townhouse. Built in the 1890s, before many cars, it has a large turning circle at the front, where horse and carriage would turn, now lots of space for private parking, right up to the front door which is appreciated by families and less able guests.

Set on a quiet, Victorian residential street, it is a peaceful and relaxing location, but has the advantage of being just a 5-minute leisurely stroll to the bustle of Ayr town center! Just along the road, Beresford Terrace has some nice restaurants, shops, and cafés. The nearest supermarket is Morrisons (10 min walk).

Woodcroft cottage is a single story cottage with no steps anywhere making it particularly suitable for young children and partially abled guests. We supply baby and child equipment on request including a cot, high and low chairs, small child’s chairs, toys, a library of books, and some classic games (e.g. Monopoly, Scrabble, dominoes, and playing cards).

Woodcroft Holiday Cottage in Ayr has one double bedroom and one twin. In the lounge, there is a flat screen TV, one 3 seater sofa and one 2 seat sofa, as well as a supportive, upright chair and children chairs. In the modern fitted kitchen, you will find a dining table with four chairs and all of the essential appliances you will need for your stay including a microwave and washing machine. The bathroom has a bath, electric shower, and a shaving point.

The lounge has a central fireplace with gas fire for cozy winter holidays, while the garden has seating for up to 8 people around a large, extendable garden table, and a barbeque is available on request for those sunny summer days! It is a quiet, well-equipped cottage that is perfect for holidays all year round. The conservatory overlooks the well-maintained walled garden, so even when it’s chilly, you can enjoy the beautiful outside spaces.

Woodcroft Cottage is located beside Stable Cottage (sleeps 2 twins), with interconnecting gardens, making them a good option for larger parties who would still like their privacy.
