Traditional Tuscan house in tiny Tuscan village
First off, the house is just as advertised - gorgeous and a trip to how it used to be in Tuscany. Violetta is a very friendly and helpful host who does way more than she needs to do. We arrived when it was pouring down rain and she and her partner had even lid a fire in the living room to make it a bit cozier. Unfortunately, that didn't stop the house from being very damp due to the constant bad weather. Not Violetta's fault at all, but still a disadvantage during the stay. Montefegatesi is a dreamy, old city with very few inhabitants that still has everything you need incl. a store, a bar with wifi + Saturday pizza and a post office. Its surroundings are incredibly beautiful and we wish we could have seen more under better weather conditions. Overall, we had a great stay and can recommend it. Thank you, Violetta!

Simply Wonderful
We chose Violetta's place in search of relaxing holidays with a lot of walking/going trekking and reading and we were not dissappointed. The village Montefegatesi is a beauty in itself. Sunrise, sunset or spangled sky - you get the best views there. We made several nice tours. You don't even need a map or app because most of the tracks are well signposted. The village also has a very interesting history! Additionally, Lucca, Florence and the beach are still in driving distance if you need some change of scenery. Violetta's place is cosy and small and offers everything you need for cooking and washing. We had a very nice and warm welcome by Violetta and her husband and were even surprised by a welcome gift in the fridge. We already recommended the place to friends and family and are thinking of coming back.

Superbe séjour à Montefegatesi chez Violetta. Quel plaisir de retrouver ce magnifique village en rentrant d'escapade (Florence, Lucca,Lericci...), un réel lieu de repos . Le village est très authentique et les habitants vraiment sympathiques. Violetta est tout simplement adorable et a été très attentive à notre bien être, une personne formidable. Un simple avis ne suffit pas pour exprimer le plaisir d'avoir été reçu ainsi!

Abbiamo trascorso 10 GG in questo posto ,per chi cerca tranquillità Montefegatesi è il posto giusto. Proprietaria meravigliosa, al nostro arrivo ci ha fatto trovare un dolcino molto gradito e dell'acqua fresca presa alla fontana della piazzetta . Il paese è molto carino, circondato da verde, con vicoletti che ricordano Dante ad ogni angolo. La casa è molto accogliente e ha uno spazio esterno dove potersi rilassare sulle sdraio o fare un bel barbecue. In cima al monumento a Dante poi c'è una vista mozzafiato sulla vallata. È un po' distante dal centro (circa mezz'ora di auto) ,ma nel paesino c'è un negozio molto fornito . Lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuole passare qualche giorno in totale relax.

L'ideale per chi cerca tranquillità, l'unica cosa bagni di lucca rimane a mezz'ora di auto quindi se non volete fare tanti chilometri vi conviene fare una bella scorta di provviste anche perché il negozio di alimentari che si trova in parse non è ben fornito, comunque per il resto tutto ok

Assoluto relax e paesaggi mozzafiato
La casa che ci ha ospitato è molto ben attrezzata e situata nel centro del paese. Pulita e fornita di tutto quello che serve per un soggiorno anche lungo....forse un po' troppo piena di arredi e oggetti. Consigliata!

Relax di coppia in mezzo alla natura
Casetta molto carina e accogliente, è l'ideale per chi ama la montagna e la natura in campagnia dei propri amici a 4 zampe come abbiamo fatto noi. Posti molto carini da visitare come l'Orrido di Botri, il sentiero degli avi, il canyon park e la laguna blu e il ponte sospeso tra i più lunghi al mondo, ecc...proprietari molto disponibili e gentilissimi. Lo consigliamo vivamente
