Beautiful location and ideal base for walks and visiting surrounding areas. Property was dark, a little tired, no welcoming touches which was a huge shame as it could be a little gem
The property is situated in a beautiful, quiet village, easily accessible. Really quaint but with a spacious living area and very comfortable for 5 of us plus dog.
Anyone looking for gorgeous views, weâd really recommend the local pub where you can sit outside and look over the dale.
One thing to bear in mind is there isnât a private garden so we had to keep the dog on lead when letting him out. Not a problem for us at all but something to bear in mind đ
Although the accommodation was very comfortable and generally clean one or two small things let it down. The fridge was broken, although useable, a few lights were not working. The shower screen in the en suite was dirty and falling apart. The parking facilities were not good. I also think complimentary toiletries should be provided
This is a really great place to stay. The accommodation had all the facilities needed as a base for a walking/driving holiday. Over Haddon is in the middle of the countryside, yet convenient to Bakewell. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.
