Beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay in our big comfortable room. The Inn is a beauty with lovely grounds and views. Friendly owners, staff and canine girls! Hope to go back again

Beautiful old inn, I just loved all the antiques in the hallways and rooms. The dining room looks out over a lake and it's so beautiful. The white table cloths, dark carpet gave a lovely calming feeling...love carpet in a restaurant even though it's harder to keep clean, the staff did an awesome job. Having carpet keeps the noise down from other tables.
We tend to look for the amenities we like when choosing a place to stay, they didn't have a hot tub and we knew that, but the ad said they had fireplaces.
When we arrived, the fireplace didn't work even though the instructions were in the room. I thought I was doing it wrong so I tried to call the front desk and the phone didn't work. So I just went to the front desk and she said the gas fireplaces don't work only the electric ones..
I would like to have known that before booking the room. But, the plus was that the tub had Jets, so I was happy. .... I had a couple appetizers because I was too late for dinner, one person told me 830 and then when I arrived at 750, she said it's actually 8pm....
That's ok too I had an appetizer and soup.
SO yummy. Overall I would say 4 out of 5. And I would stay again, just not that room. 😄

The server, Emmitt, in the dining room is wonderful! So is Justin in the bar. The bed was very comfy. Towel warming rack is great. Great views, you can open the windows in your room. Beautiful property.

The hotel is lovely and I was happy for the opportunity to stay. I would definitely stay again. Cool things, unique to an inn, like the towel warmers either didn’t work or required instructions that weren’t listed. Gorgeous views. Allow dogs for an additional charge.
