Everything was great in the home, super easy to get to, great communication with the host. My only thought would be to have the heat on in the winter before guests check in. It was cold when we got there.

No Sunset view! House has ants and other insects! Host (VACASA) unresponsive! This house has no view when trees have leaves. The view photos are several years old and trees have grown all around the upper deck. More than 6 times, my family found ants crawling on the couch, and found other insects in the house. Did not report to Vacasa because unresponsive (see below) and did not want spray while we stayed there. Vacasa claimed to have contacted the “local” manager on two occasions that I needed help 1 - a car was parked in the private drive. I ended up calling the police, as Vacasa could not tell me if they had someone in the area. Turned out the cleaners had our rental on the list to checkout on the wrong day, saw our stuff in the house and left the car in the driveway and walked to another house to clean. Meanwhile, my husband and I thought someone had broken into the house and were scared for our family’s safety. 2 - the power went out and Vacasa said the local manager would call and come by the rental to check it as there was no outage reported by the power company. I did not hear from them and after 90 minutes, the power came back on. Overall impression is that the the host does not care about the guests. Otherwise, the interior is as shown in pictures, professionally decorated. A/C works well and the kitchen is well appointed.
