Bed Configuration: King (Primary Bedroom), King (Guest Bedroom), Twin bed and Twin Bunkbeds (Guest Bedroom), Sleeps 7

Description: The Grand Oaks floor plan features convenient single level living with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, elevator access, and a covered entry. The open floor concept has a spacious 1669 square feet. Mountain views can be admired from the open kitchen, living and dining room areas as well as the primary bedroom. The kitchen boasts custom cabinetry and is equipped with everything to prepare a meal. Enjoy a meal at the dining room table, play cards or put a puzzle together. Cozy up in the living room in front of the gas log fireplace or enjoy your favorite movie. The choices are yours! The large 19 ft wide covered concrete deck is a place to gather with friends or enjoy a quiet afternoon enjoying the wonders of nature and the breathtaking mountain view. The spacious primary bedroom and bathroom suite offers a luxurious experience and access to the deck area as well as the living room. The guest bedrooms also have bathrooms offering privacy for each guest. Come for a short weekend or enjoy an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer. This condo is on the bottom floor (downstairs) with an elevator. In case of power outages or elevator equipment malfunctions, the condo will be stair access only.

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Great views from this condo! We enjoyed our stay. Spacious condo and beautiful views. Only slight negative, WiFi for guest bedroom tv was very slow, made it difficult to use the tv. No tv in master bedroom (as shown in pictures). Other than that, great stay!

Enjoyed the condo very much. My family wanted a getaway for Christmas. The kitchen was stocked with cookware we needed, utensils, plates, cups and more. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. The condo is in a good location but it is high up. You would need to be prepared if there is winter weather. One issue we had at first was my emailed instructions sent us to a different unit than I reserved. I called the emergency number and it was quickly resolved. They emailed me the correct location. The only other negative was there was dog hair in the living room. This didn’t affect our stay but wanted to note it. I did not tell anyone since it didn’t affect us. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property! It is 30 mins away from Beech Mountain and 20 mins away from Sugar Mountain. However, be cautious when booking during winter months because the property does have a steep hill.

Fabulous first experience in the high country!

Great first experience for us staying in the mountains. The check in/out process was seamless, the location was relatively close to so many attractions and the condo was spectacular!! Just what we all needed. Looking forward to our next trip there!

Nice Condo

The condo was decorated nicely and very clean. The view was lovely. Things to consider. The road to the condo was very steep and very curvy. The condo itself was very nice. But the furniture was very uncomfortable. The living room sectional was very ow to the ground and very deep seats. VERY hard to get up from if you are older or have a bad bad or knees. The spare room beds are very soft. The main bedroom bed is very high and hard to get into.

Early summer getaway

Very nice, super clean and comfortable for a family of six. 2 King bedrooms and a bunk room for children was perfect for us, although I admit, the King mattress in the Master was too firm for me, but I adjusted. Beautiful views, overall great early vacation.

Beautiful and quiet mountain condo

The condo has a great floor plan and the elevator made it accessible for my 90 year old mother (although there aren’t safety rails in any of the bathrooms, so don’t take the word accessible too literally if your traveling with elderly or mobility challenged people). Beautiful mountain views and a well stocked kitchen. Convenient to Boone and the ski areas. We only stayed for a weekend but it’s spacious enough for a week long vacation.
