Newly renovated condo with breathtaking views of Grandfather Mountain!

This gorgeous, recently renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is located on the seventh floor of Sugar Top. With endless views of Grandfather Mountain, pool access and minutes from the Slopes! Featuring modern appliances, brand new furniture and completely updated bathrooms this unit is sure to have everything you could possibly need during your stay. With a king bed in the master and twin/full bunk bed in the guest room, this unit will sleep a family of 4 very comfortably. You will have full access to the heated indoor pool, hot tub, saunas, and weight room in the first floor Lobby.
Sugar Top has a shuttle system. Please be advised that the parking shuttle is run by Sugar Top. Resort Real Estate and Rentals has no control over the shuttle system.
All Sugar Top Condos are Non-smoking. Absolutely NO PETS. No Check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests required to sign rental agreement upon booking.

There is also a Sugar Bus stop at the entrance that will transport guests to and from the ski resort. The Sugar Bus runs on weekends and holidays during ski season.

Wonderful Stay!

We stayed here for a quick ski weekend. It was a convenient location for that and the accommodations were very nice, clean, and comfortable. The decor was cozy and modern. We really enjoyed it and would stay again!

Beautiful condo!

Overall stay was excellent! Condo was clean and very reasonably priced. Parking is at lower lot so shuttle is required to get to main facility. Slope within walking distance from lower lot. Great location for small family.

The condo itself was very clean, well appointed, and newly remodeled. The view was lovely, and we enjoyed sitting on the small balcony. There were several issues with the amenities in the condo. First, there was NO air conditioning. I know it's the mountains, but it was very hot. There weren't even any fans in the unit. We had to go and buy fans in order to sleep at night. The owners really need to invest in a small split in order to continue renting in the summer. There was also no blow dryer. The parking situation was also a hassle. You had to drive up, unload, and then drive to the bottom to catch a shuttle up to the building. We wound up having to wait when we arrived because there are only 5 spaces for loading and unloading. We also had to stop at a realtors office to pick up the key. Who does that anymore? With digital locks, I shouldn't have to go out of my way to pick up a key, and then return said key. Overall, Sugar Top was a bust.

Nice property but a few concerns

The unit is newly renovated and nicely decorated. It feels open and spacious as it is not crowded with too much furniture, as I have experienced in other units at SugarTop. I had a couple of concerns. First, that there was no in unit laundry available. With young children, it is a major inconvenience to not have in unit laundry available. Every other unit I have rented at SugarTop provided in unit laundry, so as another reviewer posted, the ad is misleading. And unfortunately, I booked our stay prior to their review so expected to have access to laundry in the unit. Second, the rental office is offsite and has a 10:00 AM check out time. That seems ridiculously early and factoring in the shuttle to access our car, pack our car and time to drive down the mountain, check out is actually even earlier. I loved the property other than these two items and would likely reserve this unit again, IF in unit laundry were provided. Otherwise, we will look to rent a different unit for our annual trip. If you are not concerned with in unit laundry or early check out times, then this is a very nice unit.

Good: comfortable mattresses Good: sufficient TV, helpful during snowstorms Good: shower temperature Good: central heating Room for improvement: Cleanliness... found hair in the bathroom, in the bedroom... Used a pot only to boil water. Found a dirty pot stored in the cabinet. Number of pillows: as they are very low, we didn't have enough to stack one on top of the other. Our necks suffered. Comfort of the sofa. We were stuck for 2 days due to the snowstorm, and it was a bit uncomfortable. We used only a few glasses, plates, and a pot to boil water. But we noticed that the apartment has enough utensils for future guests to prepare more elaborate meals. It's important to highlight that we had good service at the building entrance from the staff, but we also encountered other staff members who were quite rude. The apartment is okay, but the entrance to the building needs significant improvement.

Nice updated condo

The condo was great! Updated and looks like in the pictures. I gave it a 5 star, but the cleaning company could have done a better job. Looks like the toilets were missed and and there was a hair in the bed. But other than that, great little condo.

Clean is the best thing I can say.

The condo was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. I understand the shuttle is out of the hosts control, but it’s important to mention the lack of convenience this location offers. to people looking to rent in Sugar Top. You can not quickly get something from your car or just run out for a moment. In addition, this listing is a bit misleading. The draw of this location is all of the winter activities, so when booking it was critical I found a unit with a washer and dryer. This unit does NOT have an in unit washer/dryer you can use (it is there but locked). You have access to a communal pay washer/dryer. I expressed my disappointment with the misleading listing. Also, the fireplace is locked and not usable. Lastly, it’s stark from the lighting to not a single extra blanket available. Overall it was fine and clean, but I would not stay here again.

Beautiful Clean Condo

Gorgeous condo, recently renovated so everything is super nice. Beautiful view from the deck, and the room is on the corner of the building which is really nice. The only drawback was having to ride the shuttle to our car, but it was quick to get to the building to pick us up so it wasn't too bad. It was just inconvenient for us because we like to stay out late and it didn't run after 11pm. Otherwise everything was perfect, including the awesome pool and hot tubs. Would definitely stay there again!
