Teddy Bear's Retreat at Eagles Nest - New Pet Friendly Home with Hot Tub, Views, Firepit!

Teddy Bear's Retreat is a beautiful home located on a prime corner in the desirable 'Village' at Eagles Nest. With three spacious bedrooms and two and a half baths, a firepit, hot tub, and expansive south-facing mountain views of Sugar and Grandfather Mountains, this is the perfect spot for the entire family to enjoy. It is centrally located between the front gate and Great Camp, just minutes to downtown Banner Elk!

Enter to the open-concept main level, with a spacious dining table and seating for eight guests. The modern and well-equipped kitchen provides plenty of space to prepare your meals, and features granite counters, full island and stainless-steel appliances. A half bath is conveniently located just down the hall, along with a full-sized washer and dryer and ample storage. The large cathedral ceilings open the space up to the gas log fireplace, along with a Smart TV and Roku capabilities, which extend to all 4 TVs in the house. A cozy selection of comfortable seating looks out onto uninterrupted mountain views. A spacious king suite is on the main level with views over the expansive deck and mountainside, and a large private bath with walk-in glass wall shower and double vanity.

Upstairs are two bedrooms with a shared full bath in the hallway, featuring a premium tiled shower and ample space for guests to prepare for the day. To the right is a large, second king bedroom with stunning views of the mountain, and to the left, two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds and plenty of room to relax or enjoy some of the games available for guests. All 3 bedrooms have smart TV's mounted on the wall.

Step outside and let the cool mountain breeze refresh you on the spacious deck, which is partially covered to provide both shade and sun. Here you will find a gas grill ready for making delicious mountain meals, and a comfortable seating area just waiting to be relaxed on. Just a step down from the deck you'll find a rustic firepit, ready for a fun evening of roasting marshmallows and telling stories, and an inviting hot tub perfect for relaxing after your day. The property has plenty more space beyond for fun outdoor games and a large area for families to enjoy outdoor living. There is also room for parking 3 cars at this home.

Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each
HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)
Please note all visitors on premise at the Winery must be 16 years or older, with the exception of Sundays. This is strictly enforced.

Guest do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

Additional Notes:
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- Returning guests of Teddy Bear's Retreat may receive a 5% discount, not to be stacked with other discounts.
-This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
-Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking, or by calling us with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
