Room was excellent, location is great. Grocery store beside handy, good restaurants nearby & importantly you feel safe in your room specially in Barcelona! Staff can do better with welcoming & be helpful (came with luggages but staff did not attempt to help or even open door-a guest helped instead). Breakfast had good coffee we enjoyed, can improve on eggs (for days scrambled eggs over-cooked, asked for sunny side or boiled: no chance!) Bacon & veggies too overly done. Other than this - the hotel is very clean & comfy in a great location.

For a European hotel they do a good job. They are clean and there is a big breakfast buffet. Rooms are small with us typical in Europe. There was s liquid hand soap but no shampoo or conditioner if that’s what you’re used to.

You get jumped for spare change right out the door but hotel is super nice. Roof top is amazing for watching sunsets, you can bring your own drinks there.

The hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful with any requests, for example, where to hear fado music. The included breakfast was generous and tasty, and the hotel’s location gave us easy walking access to great places in the downtown area.

The hotel is walkable to the metro station and the tourist attractions. The staff are helpful in general. The only problem is that there are some homeless people lingering on one side of the building, but you can avoid walking by that area.

The rooftop and views were absolutely amazing! Very close to the metro and the staff was great. Now the area this hotel is located is very sketchy area there are a lot of homeless people that congregate a few feet away. I also believe there is some type of institution nearby as well. Our first room was very dirty and had mold, it was close to the rooftop so it could have been some type of leakage which cause the insane amount of humidity in the room. We ended up switching rooms as some plans changed and ended up on one of the lower floors which was better. Overall if budget allows I’d research other hotels as rooftop and views cannot make up for area/cleanliness.

Two things that I am not completely happy with: 1. No coffee pot in my room. 2. The neighborhood is a bit mixed, but very safe, as there are a lot of police. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and accommodated all of our needs. Our flight arrived early and we were able to store our luggage conveniently in a basement locker location that was very secure. The bed was exceptionally comfortable had some trouble with the shower and it was kind of messy so we had to get extra towels to mop everything up. Location was good in the Gothic district and close to La Rambla. Definitely an older neighborhood.

The Andante Hotel was centrally located and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Barcelona. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The roof top pool was amazing and the view was spectacular. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
