While staying in this hotel, we had an incident where a man walked into our room with a key that worked at 3am. When I woke up and went downstairs to reception, the ma n working laughed and said he is drunk. The fact he was drunk had nothing to do with the fact his key had access to our room. The next morning, we wanted to speak to the manager to see if we could have the second night refunded so that we could stay somewhere else. The best she could do was offer free breakfast and the advice to put a chair behind the door as 'these things happen'.

Shockingly poor communication and customer service! Honestly avoid at all costs. Charges your card without authorisation, ignores messages, was left standing in the street for ages in the middle of night trying to check in.

Everything was great, staff was friendly and helpful, though the hotel's dining area on Sunday morning was not cleaned. The room was clean. There is construction on the street of the hotel.

Family friendly in vibrant area

20 min walk to everything... La Rambla, beach, Olympic Stadium etc... Vibrant local part of the city, but still family friendly. Kids loved the apartment. Would recommend to family's of 4 with children over 6...

Pre cruise stay in Barcelona

Not a hostel or a hotel. Almost like an Airbnb where we had a whole apartment to ourselves for our large party. Plenty of room. Excellent air conditioning. Walkable to everything. Hostel was next to a great restaurant which was a great and affordable home cooked like meals. Staff was friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend.

The room was very large for a family of 5. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms is very convenient. The area is nice, but construction on the street makes it a unpleasant visually.

Elevator is tiny. We lost electricity around 11pm with nobody available to help. It was super hot since the AC didn’t work, we couldn’t charge our phones or blow dry our hair. The surrounding was super loud (neighbors living in the area) partying way past midnight. It was really hard to sleep. Kyle, the front staff, was so nice and super helpful, probably the best about this facility.

Nice, but not a place to Rest.

We Stayed at Hostal Bedmates on May 2025. The apartment was clean and had all things you needed, also the guy in the front desk was very helpful and near by small restaurants were very convenient and inexpensive. The apartment was located in a nice area. But our stay was very uncomfortable due to noise and many very annoying inconveniences. The main bedroom had 5 single beds, the problem is that the noise from the road and stairwell filter into the room, this made it almost impossible to sleep. The bathrooms have no lock and the bath has shower curtains that stick to you (extremely annoying). There is a washer but no drier... This is a nice, clean place in a good area, but unfortunately I cannot recommended it.
