A friend recommended this hotel and she did not disappoint. Perfect location. I think this hotel is mostly worth it if you get a room with a private terrace. It was amazing and the view from the terrace was spectacular. The room itself was small, but typical for a European old world hotel. Amenities were modern and efficient. Breakfast was ok but not really worth it with so many street options. We would stay there again.

The hotel is located just off the La Rambla, which is so convenient to many sights. We really enjoyed that aspect of it. The BIG downside is that there were students staying at the hotel and were extremely noisy every night as they congregated in the lounge area right outside our room. We had to ask them every night, sometimes even at 2:00am, to please move to the restaurant, or somewhere else, so we could go to sleep. The rooms are not sound- proofed and it was really awful! If the hotel could have located the students all on one floor, it would have been better.

Hotel is very clean, staff very friendly and accommodating. They booked tickets for us to the flamingo show, just a block away. We were able to purchase our hop on/ hop off tickets thru the hotel at a discount. The hotel is within walking to many stores, restaurants and outside vendors.

Location is very good. Breakfast buffet was decent. Internet was terrible. No refrigerator in room. No security bars in tub/shower. No wastebasket in room.

Upon early checking in, which we knew we could not get into room, had to leave bags, front desk (Marta was not welcoming at all, busy doing whatever and we were a nuisance to her to ask any questions that we might have. Upon departure, we had ordered a taxi, yes, this is your taxi, no this is not your taxi etc. Had brought our luggage down earlier and they were put in lockup. One half hour before taxi was to arrive, we had gathered in the lobby to leave on our cruise, taxi arrived and Marta had told us that she didn't have the key where our luggage was stored and we hadto wait forthe bellman to show up, taxi waiting and so FINALLY all of a sudden she had a key to go get our luggage so that we could all leave. Meanwhile, taxi $$$adding up waitingfor our luggage. Very frustrating!
