Hôtel neuf centre ville

Hôtel au pied de la vieille ville. Accès à pied. Hôtel neuf 08/25. Chambre spacieuse. Bien équipée. Restaurant calme et agréable. Grand choix au petit déjeuner. Le soir apéritivo (une conso et l’hôtel offre des bouchées salée). Du personnel sympa et qui est toujours disponible.

La posizione dell’hotel è davvero comoda e centrale. Il personale alla reception è stato molto gentile e disponibile, così come lo staff addetto alla colazione: sempre cordiale e attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. La pulizia della camera, però, non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative per un 4 stelle. In più occasioni la stanza è stata riordinata in modo superficiale, con poca attenzione ai dettagli e una sensazione generale di scarsa cura. Anche il set di cortesia offerto era molto essenziale. Un altro punto critico riguarda la differenza tra le foto viste sui siti di prenotazione e la camera effettivamente assegnata al check-in. Anche se si tratta della stessa tipologia, l’aspetto reale – sia della stanza che del bagno – può risultare molto diverso: meno moderno e meno curato. Questo può generare aspettative errate e lasciare l’impressione di essere stati tratti in inganno. Infine, considerando che l’hotel fa parte della catena Mövenpick, è lecito aspettarsi un certo livello di qualità e coerenza con gli standard del marchio, cosa che in questo caso purtroppo è venuta meno in diversi aspetti del soggiorno.

El hotel es excelente! La ubicación es inmejorable, la decoración es preciosa, las instalaciones con mucho espacio, las habitaciones muy cómodas, el desayuno estaba muy rico y el staff siempre muy dispuesto a ayudar. Es el hotel en el que mi familia y yo nos quedaremos cada que regresemos a Bari.

Good location, but unprofessional front desk staff

Hotel just (re)opened a few days before we checked in and was/is still undergoing a refurbishment. There is potential, but at this point, I cannot recommed the hotel. It actually pains me to write this because part of the staff were lovely, but two of the front desk staff were were unprofessional and frankly unsuited for their jobs. We arrived at 1½-2 hours before official check-in time (15:00), and rooms were, not surprisingly, not ready at that time. No problem, we had lunch and came back at 15:30-16:00. When we got back, there was a long line for check-in, and nothing happening. I asked the front desk staff about when she expected we could get our room; she was dismissive and said "we have to check the rooms, it will be a few minutes". Half an hour went by, nothing happened and no information, and I was once again met by a very dismissive attitude when I inquired. At approx 16:15, we got our room. However, the cleanliness left something to wish for - eg. there was left a plastic wrapper from a tampon on the floor and water/urine stains on the toilet seat and the wall. It took several hours to get this remedied, including several frustrating, almost comedic, discussions with the front desk staff. We never got towels for two people despite asking for it several times. I could continue. The manager sent us a bottle of sparkling wine and nice note to compensate; nice gesture. But ultimately service not good enough. Please note that the advertised gym is not yet open.
