Very very cheap, but very very dirty/

Very very interesting. If you need a cheap cheap place to just lay down for a few hours amd don’t mind itching it worrying about how dirty it is. This is your place. It’s definitely cheap! I would not recommend taking a shower because the towels literally looked about 29 years old amd like they haven’t been cleaned forever. Seriously! It’s very very dirty but it is a place to try to sleep.

Location

The location of Quality Inn was perfect I had to fly into Baton Rouge and drive to New Orleans for a football game, hit I 10 and ride, thank God there was no LSU game in town, had issues with television reported to front desk person problem solved by the time I returned

Wasn't how it was listed. Rooms were upgraded somewhat but walking in the room made all our feet or socks really dirty. Toilet sometimes flushed sometimes didn't. Front desk checked us in and didnt explain where to go for our room. Also can't see your car parked from majority of the rooms which made us uneasy

Half the electricity didnt work. I could finally touch a switch and itd turn in for a sec then go off. The bed pillows were the smallest thinhs ive ever seen. The sheet has a brn mark in the middle. The ac wouldnt stay on.

The look of the reception area is deceiving. It is newly renovated and looks very nice so you assume the rest of the hotel will be too but it is not. Upon check-in, the staff was in the middle of shift change. There were 4 different parties waiting to get checked in and neither the worker coming in nor the worker clocking out seemed to want to help us. When we finally did get checked in, we went to our room and found it smelled strongly of marijuana. There were burns on the comforters (if you want to call it that since they are so thin) and this was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The bathroom door will not close because the toilet sits in the way of the door. There are holes in the walls and tiles are falling off of the walls at the bottom. There were no hangars in the closet and stains all over the room from the walls to the lamp to the sheets. Construction is happening outside but I do not fault the hotel... I do wonder if we could have been placed in a room away from this since they knew it was happening. Downstairs, other guests were near the pool with their supper plates all over the walkway, including the immense amount of alcohol they had consumed. They were loud and belligerent. One yelled towards me while others laughed but I ignored them. A hotel employee came through while I was getting a drink from the soda machine and said nothing to them about the noise level or the mess. Noise woke us up at 6:30 when construction crews arrived. We will not stay here again.
