"Private, Rustic & Romantic, So peaceful. That being said this is a great place to teach kids how to snorkel as the water is shallow enough to stand until you get out in the middle. Water is so clear you can see the fish swimming around standing on the deck! Kayak as much as you want and anytime you want. A favorite spot for fishing. Peter and Gabrielle Know everyone and everyone knows them and that is a good thing! Our rental car broke down and we called them and our car problems were fixed in 30 minutes. You may want to take your favorite snacks, shopping is very limited. "

"A dream vacation property!!! We loved the amazing view and beautiful home. The staff was so friendly and professional. Every need was anticipated. Adding the cook every day was a smart idea because she took care of all of the groceries and meal planning. The house was perfect and impeccably clean. The bedrooms were well-appointed with comfy beds, plenty of towels, good storage areas. The rooms also had screened windows and doors so you could enjoy the wonderful ocean breezes. If air-conditioning is your cup of tea, that is also available.Activities abound! The island is focused on fishing but there are other ways to be entertained. We were able to tour the island, visit Captain Bill's Blue Hole, go to beautiful beaches - all were very fun and interesting. The house has snorkeling gear, kayaks, a boat and much more. The coral reef is right off-shore in front of the home.Mike is a fantastic host with communication that is on point. Zemi and Michette (sp), the cook and housekeeper respectively, were lovely and so friendly. Our family had a blast and know you will, too."

"Fantastic place to relax or go snorkeling, diving, kayaking or bird watching. Staff is awesome - everyone is taking really good care of the guests. Property is in very good shape, everything is clean and well maintained. We loved our cabin! It was spacious but cozy and comfy. The food was delicious, Happy Hour before dinner was always fun and I loved that there was always someone helping us figuring out what we could do the next day. And if you just want to do nothing that's fine as well. "

"We spent the first week of the New Year on Mangrove Cay at Scott’s house and had an incredible experience. The home is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped for island living. We were two couples, and although there’s one shared bathroom, the layout allows for plenty of privacy. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking, which mattered to us since we prefer making meals at home. The AC is ice cold, the beds are comfortable, and the sunrise views from the property are stunning. The private beach access made every morning feel special.The house also comes with excellent outdoor gear — paddle boards, a two-person kayak, snorkeling equipment, games, and more — which we used daily.What truly sets this stay apart is Scott. He is the best host we’ve ever had. Before arrival, he scheduled a Zoom call to walk us through the home and the island. During our stay, he checked in regularly and responded instantly to any questions. He even arranged a surprise birthday dinner for one of our group at Swain’s Cay Resort. That level of care is rare.Scott’s property manager Randy is also fantastic — a local fishing guide who took us snorkeling and lobster spearing. He embodies the warmth of the Mangrove Cay community. This island is not touristy — it’s quiet, authentic, and off the beaten path. "The host Alicia was amazing. So, so helpful. The property itself is absolutely amazing. Spotlessly clean, perfect and new appliance and so close to the water you could crawl there. The area is fantastic too. There's a nearby restaurant, a convenience store and theres bike and kayak rental directly across the road. I cannot recommend this place hughly enough!"
