should be a 2 star hotel instead of 4

No wife in guest room. So inconvient for guest to have to go down to the lobby to use wifi. Small room. Expensive restsurant with so so food. Bathroom looks so old because poor maitainance.

Far from everything

This was a great hotel except for how far it was from everything. The one saving factor was that there was a subway station about a 10 minute walk away. If you knew the bus schedule, and had the time, there was a bus stop right in front if the hotel.

Convenient for what I needed and for public transport to centre

If you're looking for a nice hotel in the Haidian district of Beijing, this is the perfect choice. However, very few staff spoke English and that was a little challenging at times but they were friendly and helpful! The hotel was clean, the room was big and clean and the spa offered a wide range of massages and treatments. Taxi to the airport from the hotel cost RMB 120; taxi fare to Tiannemen Square was about RMB 65. Buses were right outside and cost 20p to the Subway which also cost 20p to get into the centre or to most places of interest.

Don't go there!

The pictures looked great so I booked a week. We got there and there was NO functioning Air Conditioning! After locating the only person that spoke English, they kept saying everything was "fine". We finally had to say: "please either fix the AC, find us another room with a working AC unit, or we will simply have to find another hotel". Their response was amusing, they said: yes, better you find another hotel...which we happily did and their AC unit worked fine. Location? They are 45 minutes away from the airport, right next to a 10 lane super highway with NOTHING around them. The hotel restaurant is a joke, we had to take a taxi to find breakfast! I am not usually someone that complains and normally take things in stride - this hotel is a joke, book at your own risk...I would avoid it like the plague!!
