Non smoking room smelled like smoke. There was a no smoking sign in room but clearly this was a smoking room. Shower was cold water only, evening activity was noisy. Would not rebook here. Overall negative experience for a this hotel.

If the tens of phone calls can’t convince the hotel people to cancel the booking because something came up. We called within one hour of booking ! People want free money .. Not satisfied with Expedia either.. used all my US bookings thru you. But to tell that we need to co tact Vivanta and Vivanta telling us to co tact Ex ledia we were tossed with no results

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vivanta by Taj on Residency Road. The central location, nestled in the heart of the city, made it exceptionally convenient for exploring local attractions, shopping centres, and dining options. Everything was within walking distance, which added to the overall experience. The service at the hotel was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by Prince and Sanjay, who provided outstanding assistance throughout my stay. Their professionalism and attentiveness ensured that I felt welcomed and valued. I stayed at Vivanta by Taj on three separate occasions, each time for one night as stopovers between my travel destinations. The breakfast was a highlight of my stay. The variety and quality of the food were truly impressive, catering to all tastes and dietary needs. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was delightful. Special thanks to Rajesh and Jayden, who accommodated my early departure for a flight by ensuring I had breakfast before leaving. Their thoughtfulness and efficiency made a significant difference to my morning. The rooms were another standout feature of the hotel. They were well-appointed with modern amenities that ensured comfort and convenience. The decor was tasteful and elegant, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. I stayed at this property again in between my trip in India. This has become a stop point between trips. Again the hotel were very hospitable and couldn’t do enough. They were all very attentive and the room was well appointed. The breakfast was delicious too. I would be finitely stay here again as it is also in such a convenient location too.

I stayed for my first night of three here as have 3 booking. This property is amazing and location too. I scored 4* for cleanliness as the room was quite dusty with some areas with a layer of dust. I mentioned this to the hotel and whilst I was out for the evening the hotel bent over backwards and ensured my room was cleaned again to a high standard so hopefully on my next stay in a few days it will score 5* The location is amazing with so much nearby and nothing more than 10-15 minutes walk away or less. The food here is amazing and service received from Rajesh at breakfast was outstanding. I want to mention Prince who ensured our stay was perfect and Sanjay from concierge who has been really helpful in holding a couple of items for me so I do not have to carry it everywhere I go. I definately recommend this place and this place will be my first choice when I teval to Be galley again. However I am already returning twice again within the next couple of weeks.
