This property was no frills, great location to the town of new Buffalo and Four Winds Casino. It was slightly outdated. In fact, it was pretty outdated, but it was clean, the rooms were large, the staff was super nice and it did the trick.! I would stay there again!

Pet friendly was really the only perk, Shower was terrible, only 2 towels for 2 grown adults. No employee around to ask for additional towels. Breakfast was the worst, limited choices, cold undercooked biscuits, tasteless eggs, and was that supposed to be sausage? ... yuk, 1 bite and in the trash (along with the bite in my mouth). You can do better ... please do better

It is a very rundown old hotel. The surroundings are overgrown and unkept. the gutters have vegetation growing out of them, downspouts are plugged. Carpets are old and dirty. We could not lock our door to door room so we transferred. The place smelled. I didn't want to use the pool it just felt dirty. The staff were good and I think the room cleaners did the best they can. That building needs an overhaul inside and and out. I am not a wealthy person by any means in fact we are lower middle class 70 year old's that still work. My goodness the new carpet is laid over the old carpet and both are dirty. I blame the ownership 90 per cent. Sorry folks but my wife and I fought over staying there 1 night. Our new room was ok the bedding was clean but that carpet.

We had checked in and were settling into our room (my fiancé and I were sharing an intimate moment) when a man used a key to open our door with out knocking and started to walk in. We told him to get out and he still kept walking in. I proceeded to cut him off while he tried to hand me towels and say he was told to put towels in the room. Without any sort of apology, he eventually walked away. We had seen him as we were getting out of the elevator and he was staring at us and watched us walk down to the room so I can only assume it was somewhat intentional. We will be requesting a full refund from the hotel.
