there was no hot water and it wasn’t going to be fixed until the next day, room was dirty found toilet paper on the floor behind the door, there were crumbs on the table, the table was loose, one of the beds did not have a mattress topper it was only the springs and I found a long hair on one of the pillows, lastly the beach area was super dirty

“The property is a bit older, but its charm is undeniable—beautifully situated right off Big Bear Lake. The location is ideal, offering easy access to events and local attractions. The beds were soft and clean, and the room was comfortably furnished with a small dining table, cabinet, fireplace, and fridge. Although breakfast was included, we had early plans and didn’t get to try it; it appeared to be a simple offering of cereal and fruit. Overall, this spot would be a great fit for families, couples, or solo travelers alike.”

This was by far the worst place we have ever stayed. The bathroom was horrendous, filthy beyond description. I dont think anyone has ever scrubbed the tub or toilet. The towels looked like they were never washed, so we went to ask for more towels at the front desk only to be given more dirty towels. There was wiring exposed in the bathroom at the light switch. We didnt even dare sleep under tbe blankets. Luckily, we had taken a throw with us and just slept on top of the comforter and used the throw. There was a strong propane odor in the hallway. We had to hold our breathe every time we ran by. I can't believe Expedia associates itself with this place. It is literally a dump. The only positive is its location.

staff was friendly, really great view of the lake with dock and optional grill area. didn’t realize there was no a/c, was a bit rough and didn’t feel comfortable leaving windows open overnight on the first floor but second floor would have been fine for air flow. overall pleasant stay, good location and view was awesome.

A very relaxing stay with a nice view. The balcony was perfect for early mornings and late afternoon relaxation listening to nature. The rooms were very comfy and the kitchen was a nice touch.

It was a nightmare to take a shower in this place. It was either scolding hot or more pressure than a fire hose. The main door and bathroom door looked like they had been kicked in and silicones backed together. So much silicone on the bathroom door that it never closed properly. By the end of the second night we had ants in our room. Multiple outlets did not work. This place was ok for me because im a fisherman and this hotel was on the water but actually staying in the room made me feel like i could have found something a little better. If i were to stay here again i would call ahead and make sure some of these issues will not be in my next room. Staff was good, property was nice, fishing from the dock was awesome, but sleeping and relaxing aspect wasnt there.

Worst hotel you could ever stay at. Ants, roaches and spiders throughout the room. No dresser to put your clothes in. The mattress was about 4 inches thick. The mattress frame was horrible so we ended up putting the mattress on the floor. Overall disgusting place.

I expect to get a full refund on this reservation. Room was not ready at check-in time. No water in bathroom sink, no coffee maker in the room as advertised, no breakfast provided as advertised, filthy floors, countertops, curtains and windows. Only two towels provided for a party of three. Only one toilet paper roll provided, already halfway thru. Staff did not show they care, made excuses for everything. Staff said manager would contact us, but never did. In the morning (breakfast hours) staff closed the office, so there was no one to talk to.

We stayed at this property for two nights on the lakeview side. Upon entering, there were black ants on the floor and furniture. The ants were around our beds and the bathroom, coming out of the blackened flooring. There was an alarm the first night that beeped every 45 minutes. We had to ask for toilet paper as soon as we got there because the cleaner "forgot" about it. He told us face to face. This weekend the office was run by three teen boys who cannot do their jobs. I understand having to employ them, but at least make sure they're taking out the trash. The coffee machine in the breakfast area does not have coffee cups.

This place was horrible. Will never recommend this place. It was very dirty and it smelled dead rat all over the cabin. In fact we found a dead rat under the kitchen table. Location is convenient to everything but check your cabin and sheets carefully
