Great house! Needs shampoo/conditioner in other bathroom besides master. Only one handsoap in master not any in other bathrooms. Neighbors huge tree obstructs view. Too many stairs for us. Stove made clicking noise, spa needing chemicals and ceiling fan in family room was noisy and wobbly. Things that can be easily maintenenced. Property managment was great and very communicative. We had a nice stay!

Water leak

The property and location were amazing. We experienced a water leak that flooded part of the upstairs rooms. Had to call multiple times to get a plumber to come out. Took almost 8 hrs for the plumber to come fix the leak, the rest of the flooding was never cleaned up or addressed. The management company seemed uninterested in what was going on and never reached out to. In the future I will trt to avoid properties ran by destination big bear when possible.

Amazing house with an amazing view. Close to the center where shops and restaurants are. You can do some of tour own snow activities at the yard right in front of the lake! Highly recommend for a big family getaway :)

What a beautiful view! There were two large Windows in front of the dining table and we felt like we were enjoying the food in the painting. Everything is good! The only thing I think needs improvement is the window in the master bathroom, which is not covered by anything at the top, and the second floor of the house next door can be seen through there. I had to block it myself with something.

Wow!

We had grandparents, parents and kiddos, plenty of room in a homey and well appointed lake home. Kitchen had all we desired to cook and not waste any time away from the beautiful views from every room and the decks. So much fun was had in the jacuzzi, game room and lake fishing right from the back of the property. Lovely in everyway and we’d highly recommend!

Amazing place. Stayed with 3 families; 6 adults, 9 kids. The place was at a great location, had amenities that made the place even more fun. They had a nice little casino-type table and pool table and foose ball table. It was very spacious for all of us, it neve felt like it was too small. Everything worked well for the most part. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again

18 th Birthday get away

We celebrated our son's 18th birthday with 6 of his friends, and 4 other parents. The house was the perfect size for all of us, especially the teenagers! The location has a fantastic view of the lake and wildlife. Its close to the village, but far enough to where we felt we were away from the hustle. We asked for a later check out and were accomodated. Everyone was grateful for the extra time, and every single person said they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I would gladly give 5 stars, but I'm waiting to hear back from VRBO/ Destination Big Bear regarding a birthday present that was accidentally left behind. I contacted the reps at Destination BB as soon as we got down the mountain. They replied immediately to inform me the cleaning crew would drop off the gift to their main office, and would notify me asap. I am currently waiting on DBB to let me know that they have the gift in their possession. Overall, our experience with VRBO/ DBB was wonderful and I recommend this home for your next adventure in Big Bear!

Great Place!

We stayed in this home with my dad who came to visit us, my husband and kids and another family. This place is big, with 4 bedrooms and 3 king size beds. The view from the main floor is amazing and most importantly the location is PERFECT, with snow in the backyard and view of the lake for the kiddos to play and enjoy. We are definitely coming back!

Great views

Great place to stay, with plenty of room for everyone. Communication was easy with property management. Only thing is that it's quite warm on the top floor and there is no AC. Just something to keep in mind when staying there during the summer. But nothing can beat the views. We will definitely come back and stay here again.

Great Property But Needs Some Updates

Overall this property is great. There were 8 adults celebrating a 52nd birthday weekend. The size of the home and separation is great. The outdoor decks and yard space are amazing. Beautiful views even though the lake is so low. Location was great for walks with lake views and beautiful properties all around. The property really is more comfortable for 6 adults as 2 had to sleep under bunk beads and actually hit their heads on the upper bed so the next night chose to sleep on the sofa bed which wasn’t any better. It’s a little tight with only 2.5 bathrooms as well. The TVs were all terrible and we couldn’t get most to work. They really need to be updated to modern flat screen smart TV’s so we could stream Netflix etc. Be aware the hone does not come stocked with any basic essentials including shampoo or body soap (items we didn’t bring) nor basic items in the kitchen like foil, Saran Wrap, bags etc. stuff you don’t go out and buy or bring for a 3 day trip! I really feel these items should be in a home especially of this caliber. The worst item was the kitchen refrigerator it really needs to be replaced! It does not cool properly and there’s a note in the fridge stating it could be 24 hrs before it’s cooked to the right temperature along with some other instructions on where to set the temperature for it to work. The management company was fantastic and so easy to work with. We were even lucky enough to get a late check out! Again overall a fantastic property and experience but the owners really should invest some money to upgrade the TVs and Refrigerator, especially for the price they are charging per night.

Great family getaway!

We had such a great time in Big Bear. The house was beautiful and so comfortable, which we were hoping for because there weren't too many places to go due to the stay at home order. Great kitchen!

Wonderful getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Everything was clean and very comfortable. My only complaint was the smell of the refrigerator. It smelled fishy which made the ice smell also. Other then that it was a great place and I would love to stay again. My children enjoyed the game room to its fullest.

Amazing view

The property was immaculate. We had our family all ages, everyone said how amazing the property is. So many things to do, a lot of it walking distance.

Great experience

Clean, big space for our family. We had a lot of fun in the game room. Kitchen was fully stocked. WiFi worked great. Enough beds and blankets for all of us.

Nice place but pricey for the money

My family stayed there in the summer. Overall the place in nice. The views of the lake are great, however it's at the low end of the lake and the drought has impacted that side of the lake in Big Bear. Also at this price point they really should have provide basics like lotion and shampoo/conditioners and an adequate supply of toilet paper. Make sure you bring Kleenex since that is also not provided. They also need to replace the blackjack table since it's extremely worn. Don't get me wrong the home is nice, I would just rather be at a better part of the lake with a home with more amenities.
