Escape to a superb cabin in Big Bear Lake. Located in Moonridge, this beautiful 3 bedroom cabin is a hop and a skip from Bear Mountain Resort, closer to the chair lifts than half of the parking lot. You can come back at lunch and enjoy a nice soak in a rare Finnish style hot tub; or sit around the 70,000 BTU fire pit while the kids sled in the backyard.
The main living space has a fireplace, open kitchen, a master bedroom with a detached bathroom. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are located downstairs with an amazing game room. Lic #29022

Cabin Stay
The cabin is within walking distance of the mountain. The part of the mountain that is close we were instructed we could not access so be aware that you will probably still have to drive to the mountain base entrance if you have gear. The property manager was very accommodating and responsive. The negative about this property is the cleanliness. Obviously to stay at a cabin so close to the mountain it’s not going to be cheap but I did expect a level of cleanliness for how costly it was. The rugs and towels were dirty and stained. Not fresh. The floors and carpet were not mopped or vacuumed, we found crumbs all over. The game equipment downstairs even was dusty and dirty. We had to rewash all the pots and pans we used to cook. The last major negative was that the sliding door upstairs does not lock. We had to have one of our husbands sleep on the couch to feel safe sleeping at night with children. If you have young children that are crawling I wouldn’t recommend this stay.
