Ski Access:

Experience true ski-in/ski-out living at Silvertip Cabins, nestled on Moonlight Mountain in the heart of Big Sky. Step outside and access the slopes directly from your cabin, with a convenient connection to the Madison Base Area, ski school, beginner terrain, and lifts. With thousands of acres of terrain and hundreds of runs, Big Sky offers an unforgettable mountain experience for every level of skier and snowboarder. Please note that ski lifts typically begin operating in early to mid-December each season.

Ski Out: Step outside and access the groomed ski trail directly behind the home, which connects to Natawista for a convenient ski-out route toward the Madison Base Area at Big Sky Resort. Follow Natawista downhill, crossing the skier bridges and continuing through the tunnel beneath Peaks View Drive toward Madison Base, where you can access ski school, rentals, and the lifts. Beginner skiers can continue to Cinnabar and the Derringer beginner area, while the Six Shooter lift provides access to both the Moonlight Basin and Big Sky sides of the mountain.

Ski In: From the Big Sky/Moonlight mountain, ski toward Powder River and follow the signs toward the Natawista connection. Continue through the skier tunnel and past the first skier bridge, then take a right onto Natawista and follow the trail back toward the homes. Stay on Natawista as it winds through the neighborhood and crosses the skier bridges, with your home located on the right as you return along the ski access trail.
