Need snacks, coffee, or emergency chocolate? The Hungry Moose grocery is right nearby â your go-to for last-minute essentials. At the resort, youâll find shops, restaurants, and aprĂšs-ski spots â just know most stores close when the lifts stop spinning. For late-night eats, drinks, and live music, head to Big Sky Town Center, only a 10â15 minute drive away. In Summer Youâll be smack dab in the middle of Big Sky adventure. Hot day? Pack your sunscreen and inner tube â Lake Levinski is less than 5 minutes away for floating, swimming, and tanning. No gear? No problem â rentals start at just $30/day for canoes, paddle boards, and more. Craving an adrenaline rush? Youâre minutes from Big Sky Resortâs mountain biking trails (bring your GoPro for those brag-worthy shots). More of a âboots on the groundâ type? Explore endless hiking trails nearby, plus archery, ziplining, and rock climbing. Basically, if you get bored here⊠thatâs on you.
Yellowstone National Park If youâre staying in Big Sky, youâre only about an hour from Yellowstone National Park â one of the most extraordinary places on Earth. Sure, one day wonât cover it all, but skipping it would be a mistake youâll regret. Marvel at Old Faithful, wander among bubbling geysers, and watch for bison, elk, and maybe even a bear (from a safe distance, of course). Yellowstone isnât just a park â itâs an experience youâll carry with you forever.

The accommodations were as described. The stairs to the unit are a bit steep. Did not have picture of shower of 2nd bath. Both rooms have shower/bath. No walk in shower if that is an issue. No a/c - can be an issue if hot day. Stayed in unit so that son could do the downhill biking. Unit is close to lift. The unit was very clean and the communication with the host was immediate and helpful.
It was a pretty nice place. The condo was set up well and was well appointed. The TV menu / channel selection was slow and difficult to operate. The fireplace worked well. Upon check out it was expected that we wash the sheets and empty the trash to the dumpster. The parking pass seemed to be a prominate issue at the property. We did enjoy the bars and pubs and beautiful scenery. I was greeted by a mama red fox one morning in the parking lot and it made my whole day. There was even an elk herd one morning on the way down the mountain.
