UpNorth Getaway with access to ATV UTV Snowmobile Trail

We welcome you to our UpNorth Getaway. We are on the ATV, UTV, and Snowmobile Trails (Stoney Hill Road/Trail 31S) and only a few miles from boat landings to access Little Birch, Big Birch, and Big Chetac Lakes. Just a short walk to the Birchwood American Legion open to the public and a couple miles to Birchwood with a c afe, Coffee/Bakery Shop, Several Bar and Grills, Northwood Lift and Dock with bait and tackle, convenience stores/fuel, a Dollar Store, Doolittle Park/Public beach, and many places of interest. This Getaway is close to the Blue Hills Recreation area, the Murphy Flowage and the Ice Age Hiking Trails. Many golf courses close by including Tagalong, Turtleback, and Butternut. Birchwood and the surrounding area has many things to offer. Hayward is only 25 miles away.

Our cozy home is all one level with a front porch and back patio. It offers a large open area floor plan kitchen, living room and dining area. There are two spacious bedrooms and one large bathroom. Woodland surrounds the property with abundant wildlife.

There is a two night minimum and a three night minimum on holiday weekends. Extra person charges may apply and vary depending on property policy.

You are responsible for any damage to the property or party causing damage or loud noise.

Fish cleaning is not allowed inside the house, you may clean fish outside. Remains must be bagged and put in the bottom freezer of the refrigerator.

The property had everything you would need. They have thought of everything. The host’s were gracious & communication was great! I would highly recommend & use this property again. #1 beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever had on a get away. Plus it was close to our activities.
We got ready for a wedding on Friday.

We also hiked the Ice Age Trail just 10 minutes south.

Delightful!

This place truly felt like a "home away from home." My husband and I visited with our two children, and it was so nice to have a separate bedroom for the kids. (Much better than a hotel.) We appreciated having a dishwasher, washer and dryer, well-supplied kitchen, and comfortable family room. The hosts were communicative and helpful. We look forward to staying again in the future and highly recommend this unit.

Comfortable welcoming getaway

With big plans to participate in Birkie weekend We were happy to find this place last minute after our original reservation fell through because of septic issues. We lucked out and found a comfortable, welcoming and beautiful place. Mary responded immediately and helped us when we ran into a couple issues. We highly recommend this place.

Came for the Cranberry Fest

The rental served our purpose. It was clean, furnished with everything we needed. Beds were fairly comfortable we have slept on worse. Only issue was, the blow dryer did not work. Kitchen was spacious and we did not run into each other while cooking.

Good evening. Thank you for letting us share a little piece of your upper woods area. Absolutely beautiful home and very convenient with my son's family just down the road. Family Visit

Our stay at the Larson Lodge was just perfect! We were in Birchwood for a family get together, and the location was just right.....close to town. We loved the VRBO.....clean, quiet, well appointed with everything that you need, but without a lot of unnecessary clutter. Mary and Tom were perfect hosts and available for questions at anytime. We would definitely stay there again!

Long weekend

Myself and a few friends stayed here for a bachelor party, the owners were very accommodating and allowed us to check in early so we wouldn’t have to pull our trailers to the golf course. The location was perfect being on the atv trails. We will definitely be back.

Perfect place to stay and ride. Plenty of parking for vehicles with trailers and quick access to trails. Birchwood has lots of options for dining and legion next door is convenient for quick meal. My family has stayed multiple ttimes and we will definitely be back

Awesome Place!!!

Perfect place to stay right off of the pavement, but on the trails. Very close to food and fuel. Beautiful area. Very clean accommodations will definitely stay again!
