The 1661 Resort is hands down my favorite place to stay on Block Island. The views are absolutely breathtaking. It's also far enough from the downtown bars and crowds that you can truly relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, while still being just a short walk or bike ride away from everything. The resort is beautiful, and the recent updates to the farm and the new spa and fitness area across the street make it even better. Everything feels fresh, thoughtfully designed, and adds to the overall experience. I can't wait to come back!

Staff was nice but in the room AC didn't work, hot tub would randomly turn on, a bunch of bugs were in the room, and tv turned on but didn't work. Breakfast was pleasant. Make sure you bring your own snacks and stuff there is nothing available at night.

A piece of Heaven right here at the 1661 Inn. All staff were helpful, polite and very pleasant. Everything you can imagine for breakfast, and it was all delicious. The view from the deck off of our room was breathtaking. Our champagne and cookies were waiting for us which was a great way to start off our fun time on the Island.
