The key didn’t open out side doors. Are room keys didn’t work on the doors three times no Kleenex. Have snacks but have no change for machines Would not recommend or come back again

Holiday Inn Express is usually represented better. We arrived late following a stressful drive in driving rain. The room was adequate but had a damaged and torn curtain. Towls were thin and worn and toilet was leaking around the base. Requested a quiet room and was placed on 3rd floor facing highway 74. With all the difficulites, I asked for a discount on the room fee and was told only Travelocity could make that change. Holiday Inn should reconsider this franchise location, this one is not well represented

Excellent service friendly staff good breakfast. Staff met my needs for early pick up of room key and stll greeted us at 1:00am when we arrived. Would highly recommend.

Everything was Fine Except the Shower

Pros: It was very, very clean and, for the most part. well maintained.
Cons: The shower in our room was terrible. There was virtually NO water pressure.
Location: We stayed here after an Illinois football game. Once we got clear of Champaign traffic it took us about 30 minutes to reach Le Roy.
Almost everything about this hotel was fine. The staff was pleasant and helpful, our room was clean and roomy and the public area were very well maintained. In fact we were amazed when one of the staff told us the facility was six years old; we thought it was brand new. The breakfast was a nice as it can be when you have to eat it with plastic utensils. Although we didn't request it or need it, we were put in an accessible room. It was fine, big rooms and a walk in shower. Taking a shower turned out to be terrible experience. The water was plenty hot, but there was very little of it! As I began to take a shower, I wondered what I would do if the flow stopped altogether. With that, it almost did. I took the remainder of my shower with a trickle (truly). We did tell the desk clerk about it on the way out and she was very apologetic.

Don, Let me first apologize for the experience with your shower. Over the past few weeks, we have received a few complaints regarding water pressure in showers. Originally, we suspected the problem to be in our shower heads, and we started replacing them. We recently discovered over the weekend of your stay with us, that the issue did not go away with new shower heads and we found that the responsible culprit was actually a water pressure pump in our mechanical room. It was something we could not fix quickly over the weekend, and would require time to gather the new parts and get on the schedule for repair. While I am happy we finally discovered the problem, I apologize it negatively affected your stay with us. We enjoyed having a full hotel for the Illinois football game and I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay with us. I hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.
