This place needs to be condemned. The paint is a violent yellow/green that's cracking, the shower has black mold and the smell of overwhelming cleaning supplies to cover up the mold is horrendous. We found cockroaches in the bathroom and the carpet was sticky. We are all for an old budget friendly hotel but this one is unsafe and a health concern. DO NOT believe the photos on their posting. Also the pool has been closed for years. I wouldn't spend $20 here let alone the $200 we got charged. The owner was rude and disrespectful when we kindly asked for a refund. It is most definitely an intentional scam. Save your money and sanity and go to the comfort inn or anywhere else.

The problem i have with the Blue Springs, Ga location is they DO NOT HAVE local TV. They give you internet and a smart TV but if you want or need to watch LIVE/LOCAL TV you have to sign in to your own provider account. I have NEVER experienced this before.

The lemon yellow and sherbet green walls will always come to your mind when you think of the Douglas Inn. Rooms are dated but they are clean and the price is good when compared to everything else in the area

The flooring in the bathroom had been removed leaving just the bare concrete. There was a flyer in the room that stated an iron and ironing board was available in the office. When we asked to use it they said “no iron” until we returned with the flyer pointing out the information.

Good Value

Considering the price it was definitely a good value. Clean, safe, no issues with billing. AC units worked properly. Breakfast bar limited but we just wanted a good place to crash. I was a bit concerned that the smoke detector looked quite old even though the green light was on. I would also have liked to be able to make a cup of coffee before the lobby opened at 7am.
