What a great little motel.
The staff were super welcoming, the beds were nice and comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was incredible, i didn't want to get out lol
It was located in a quiet location and was within walking distance of the shops and cafes the place of business i was in town for ( Horizon Tattoo)
I would definitely stay there again if i was ever back in town.
This is a classic country motel, nothing flash but clean and has everything one needs for a comfortable short stay. Air conditioning, a fan, mirrors, extra pillows, good access to power points and lamp switches and well placed bins.
It is also a short 10 minute walk to the main street of Boonah.
We are lucky to be assigned a renovated room. A lot of the other rooms seem really old but the overall experience was okay. The people staying next door were quite noisy and up till very late and we can hear all their conversations from our room so not much privacy.
Room was lovely and spacious. Beds were comfortable enough for a 2 night stay.
Only negative thing is that housekeeping came knocking at 8.30am. We were not given a sign to hang on the door for DO NOT DISTURB/HOUSEKEEPING. Reason I know they have these is that a relative checked into the same Motel the day we checked out and mentioned how they were given the sign. Had we also had one of these, it would have avoided the 8.30am knock on the door.
I booked my room through Expedia & when I arrived at the Motel I was charged $540 whereas my friends were all charged $435, I spoke to the owner they said it was Expedia that charged that amount, I contacted Expedia they told me the Motel Quoted $540, so the owner of the Motel was not telling the truth.
