This house was perfect for my husband and I for a weekend trip. The kitchen was one of the most well equipped of any vacation rental I’ve ever booked. Plenty of room for the two of us. Sitting on the deck and listening to the water was wonderful. The slight noise from the road above didn’t bother us (not significantly traveled but it is right above the creek at the ridge line). Location was perfect. We were close to Boone and Blowing Rock to enjoy both towns but far enough away to feel remote. We would definitely book again.

This little home truly has everything you could want or dream of. My girls and I just returned from our stay while visiting Appalachian State University for a college tour, and we were so sad to leave.From the sound of the rushing creek to the thoughtful touches inside (hot teas, coffee, cozy throw blankets, movies, and incredibly comfortable beds and furniture) we felt completely welcomed and at-ease. Every detail that went into creating this little home did not go unnoticed; it’s absolutely charming, and I can’t say enough good things.We’re hoping to return again in the future!
