Historical home in Downtown Bozeman w/fireplace & views - Loft in the Rockies on Main Street!

Enjoy the ambience of historic downtown Bozeman in this totally renovated two-bedroom, one-bath, loft. Located on the south side of Main Street, the 9' arched windows and deck provide great views of the Bridger Mountains. You will be located in the heart of restaurants, galleries, shopping, and all that happens downtown while still being at the doorstep of Montana's great outdoors.

Your home away from home is beautifully appointed with stainless steel appliances and limestone/slate countertops used throughout the kitchen and bath. The living room has warm, cherry wood floors. There is a dining table to seat six, and counter seating for four. The large desk with attached hutch houses a hi-tech stereo, which also functions as an on-the-go office.

The master bedroom, with lovely arched windows overlooking Main Street, has a king-size bed with 300-thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. A wall-mounted TV is provided for your viewing pleasure.

The second bedroom also has a king-size bed, making this loft perfect for a family or two couples. The bath has a tub/shower combo, a pedestal sink, toilet, double sets of towels, and a closet for plenty of storage. A full size stacking washer and dryer are located in the bathroom for your convenience.

In the winter, nearby Bridger Bowl is a local's favorite for downhill skiing with 350 inches of snow on average, 8 lifts, and 2,000 skiable acres! You can also drive to Big Sky for even bigger downhill skiing or cross-country ski at Lone Mountain Ranch, voted #1 Nordic Ski Resort in North America. Looking for more thrills? Check out ice climbing in the Hyalite Canyon. After a day of adventuring, relax at Bozeman Hot Springs or hit the town! As a college town, Bozeman is always bustling with activity and something for everyone.

In the summer, Bozeman boasts numerous events and festivals like the Sweet Pea Festival, rodeos and MSU Graduation. It's a central home base for countless summer activities including touring Yellowstone National Park, fishing, rafting, hiking, tubing, golfing, shopping, or sampling menus at all the great restaurants nearby.

This is convenient for walking to downtown stores, restaurants and bars. We have stayed in the area before and we are aware of the nightlife and music, didn't seem to bother us. Had a good time.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Loft. We wanted a space where we could host our daughter and her friends for Christmas dinner and really make it special by suprising her with some special decorations from home including our artificial tree. The location had its pluses and minuses. The parking was fine although not monitored and there were frequently cars and trucks that were not staying in the units parked in the spaces, be prepared to schlep your stuff up the stairs but it’s good for you, we had an issue with not having the code to the entry door off the street. Luckily someone was there when I texted and was able to sent me the code right away so that was not an issue. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The balcony is great! Being on mainstreet and able to walk out the front door was awesome! The only issue and I use that term loosely, is Friday night it was loud. And I mean loud. Music- blaring- from -the bar -when -you’re -trying -to -sleep- loud. If we didn’t have to be up at 5 am it wouldn’t have been a big deal. The place is great and I would definitely stay there again.

Large place in great location

Location is perfect. Right on Main street and walkable to all major restaurants and shops. There is a deck with chairs overlooking Main Street. Rooms were very large. Beds comfortable. Parking is first come first served so off street parking is available if there are spots left. Wifi worked well. Living area is larger than pictures show. Property managers were responsive.

Great location and hospitality! Couldn’t be more down town. If you enjoy the night life this is the place for you. If you don’t like to stay up late you will hear live music but it’s not loud, it will just give you FOMO.

Bozeman Ski Vacation Fun

This is a in depth review so you know what to expect from a stay at this place. First off the Stay Montana property managers were excellent. Very well organized for checking in and out and always responsive to all our questions. We plan to do business direct with them in the future for Bozeman ski vacations. Pros: great location for guests wanting to be near old downtown Bozeman. We only had one car so some could commute to Bridger for skiing while others could walk anywhere downtown. The 2 bedroom apartment was well equipped and perfect for up to 4 people without ever feeling crowded. The look and feel was a hip old city loft vibe. The cons: the loft is on the second floor accessible only by long staircase from front entrance shared by a barbershop. Loading and unloading can be difficult on the busy main street with tight street parking. The rear parking lot is shared by many down a back alley that needs street repairs. Big potholes and two steel poles made it easy to damage vehicles or get stuck if you are not careful. Local businesses were warning customers to be cautious when parking out back. This is not a fault of the condo owner or the property manager but I suspect a bigger issue involving the city. Lastly the old loft has heating challenges in the winter. Bottom line: great for folks without mobility issues, and willing to ad clothing layers when dealing with funky heating system in an historic building. We would stay here again.
