What’s your dream Rocky Mountain vacation look like? A spacious cabin in the woods surrounded by pine trees sitting next to a roaring fire – not to mention your own hot tub? Heartstone Hideaway offers all these things in a location that close to town, the slopes and great hiking trails, including the popular Isak Heartstone trail. Plus, it’s dog friendly. You and your group will love it!

Heartstone Hideaway is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom private home that comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. Located just five minutes from Downtown Breckenridge and the slopes at Breckenridge Ski Resort, this traditional mountain home offer comfort and great amenities. The living area is spacious, with vaulted ceilings and large windows letting in the forest light. There’s also gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV for catching a movie or the morning snow report.

The kitchen features granite counters, stainless-steel appliances, and all the gear you’ll need to whip up memorable mountain meals for everyone in your group. The dining table seats six, and there’s room for four more at the counter. Just off the living area is a large deck that allows you to enjoy the beautiful setting of this home. There’s plenty of seating, a gas grill for barbequing and, of course, a large private hot tub!

Other amenities of this home include a 2-car garage plus room for three vehicles outside, a washer/dryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi and cable TV. Plus, every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. The rental and check-in process was easy. The house is in a good location. It’s far enough away from town for some peace and quiet, but still close enough to easily access restaurants and skiing. The property is a bit dated and showing signs of wear, but the layout and space was quite good. Despite what the description says, there is not parking for two cars in the garage. One bay is blocked with shelves and furniture. One bay might fit a tiny car like a Mini Cooper. The house really has parking for three vehicles.

Amazing getaway!

Property feels very secluded, cozy and all the amenities you could ask for. Also located right next to the troll! Was a pleasant surprise to walk into the troll while exploring the property. Kids and adults will have an absolute blast. Host checked in several times to make sure all our needs were taken care of. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely book another trip back.

Breckenridge family ski trip

This is the second time we have stayed here. Beautiful location and very welcoming. It allows pets which is great as our dog is a member of the family. They were very good about communication as there was an issue with the dishwasher prior to arrival. Another wonderful trip to Breckenridfe

Great place to stay

The property is in a perfect location in Breck. Right outside of town, on a private lot with lots of trees. It was clean and well stocked. Guys came to shovel the snow and take garbage. Beds were comfy and we had enough room. The bunkbeds were in separate cubbies in the third bedrroom and separate from the queen bed so there was some privacy in there. The hot tub and back patio were fantastic. The only things that I could say in improvement would be that the spiral staircase seems to be getting unstable, and the house was a little dated and could use some upgrades. We had a wonderful time and def will be booking this house again. Thank you!!

Overall pretty good

Biggest issue was the dishwasher was broken upon arrival, and only one garage spot is available instead of the two advertised. The management was very helpful in working with us to amend those problems, and overall it was a nice stay.

Hearthstone was an ideal spot for our family holiday!

The Headstone was perfect. Great house, very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was ideally located to Main St., Breck Village and all the local spots. We really enjoyed the fireplace, the patio and hot tub and the quiet tranquil back snow covered yard with all the snow covered Spruce trees. Such a great visit and home!

Beautiful house, great location

The house was great. View was beautiful, place was clean, water pressure amazing. Walking distance to downtown (about 20 min) and the shuttle is only a 5 min walk. Could use a couple upgraded kitchen items and refreshed spices as most were expired but it has everything you would need and nothing was in worse condition than any other rental. Overall, we were very comfortable and had a great stay.

Winter staycation

The property is close to town and tucked away into the woods enough that it is private and quiet with beautiful views of the surrounding trees. The property was very clean and well kept. My family and our dogs loved our stay and playing in the snow behind the property.

Great location, beautiful property

We very much enjoyed our stay, the location was close to town (20-min walk), an ice rink (town trolly, shuttle to the slopes), and nice hiking trails (Illinois Creek trailhead) all accessible by a safe sidewalk along the road. We arrived 30 minutes early on the day of check-in (trying to beat the weather) but the property hadn't been inspected as was explained by the property management team and we couldn't enter until the inspection was complete. This seemed pretty close to the check-in time (4pm) so we waited until a little after 4 and called, they had waived off the inspector and texted the entry code but the cell signal was weak at the property and I didn't get it until I drove toward the town. So take note if you are waiting to enter at the property. The fireplace was great and warmed the living area nicely. The hot tub was wonderful and the kitchen is well appointed. Even though the setting is remote you can hear the trucks engine break on the road, especially in the morning. Be warned maintenance staff appeared without notification (pool service, staff to shovel off snow from the deck) and they plowed the drive at 11 pm a couple of times during our stay. There were a few cobwebs present but somewhat expected with the high A-frame ceilings. All-in-all we had a wonderful time, the property exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it.

Great Location, Needs Some TLC

We have stayed at this location 3 times in recent years. The location is great - walkable to town, yet feels private and close to many trails. Compared to our first visit, the property seems to need some attention. The shower curtain was covered in mold, many of the dishes had food or lip marks on them (not clean), there were mice in the garage, and there was broken glass near the bench in the side yard. Perhaps it’s turned over too quickly between renters? We still love this house for the location and layout, but this last visit gave us pause for booking again. With that said, the property managers were responsive so we are hopeful it gets some more thorough cleaning and maintenance, and maybe we just had an unlucky visit.
