Lupine Lookout is a spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed "home away from home" that is nestled within Breckenridge’s scenic mountain neighborhood with a wide variety of alpine wildlife, vegetation, forests and lakes. It is the perfect retreat for skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, or relaxing while enjoying the stunning mountain views! You are near the ski slopes and beautiful historic downtown Breckenridge where there are restaurants and shops galore!

SPACIOUS & LUXURIOUS 5-BEDROOM 3-BATHROOM HOME

The home has two entries with the first one being the ground-floor basement for ease of access. The basement features a kitchenette, dining room, laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a cozy living room complete with a gas fireplace. There are two bedrooms on this floor and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and large vanity. The first bedroom features a queen-sized bed and the second features a luxurious king-sized bed.

The second floor features the main living room with beautiful wood-vaulted ceilings framed with floor-to-ceiling windows, wood-burning fireplace, smart TV, and a large sectional. This floor has a fully-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining room, and a wrap-around balcony. Sliding glass doors lead to the balcony featuring six adirondack chairs, a grill, and an incredible ten-mile range of mountain views. The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. One bedroom has two full-sized bunk beds, and a second bedroom has a luxurious king-sized bed. Both bedrooms have large closets for clothes and luggage.

The third floor features an office loft for any of your remote working needs. The third floor has one bedroom with two queen-sized beds and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a luxurious wooden sauna!

Pro: Plenty of space for 10 people. Cons: 1. When we arrived, the door code did not work. We had to wait 20 min for a handyman to show up. What we thought would be an exciting startto our vacation, it was disappointing to have to wait late at night in our cars. 5 kids tired after a long 8 hour drive. 2. After finally getting in the house, we checked all the rooms, there was dust and trash on the floor in some of the bedrooms. Walking on the floor felt dirty. The rugs looked like they weren’t vacuumed at all. It was as if no one had cleaned the house in weeks. 3. There was a crack in the floor of the dining room which we thought could have easily hurt someone if they had stepped on it and fell through it. So we put the trashcan over it so that no one would hurt themselves.4. No instructions on the thermostat but I eventually figured it out. 5. Mattresses are extremely firm. Beware. 6. Hot tub didn’t look clean. I didn’t feel like going in it. And I was looking forward to it. 7. Neighbor is in the middle of construction. And looks like they have 6 more months to go. Maybe more. 8. Plenty of missing kitchen tools. Needs regular size spoons. Measuring cups. 9. No firewood. I asked but never got a response. 10. Very little shampoo and conditioner. I asked but never got a response. 11. No garage parking. You have to park in front of the owners house and walk to your house. No designated steps or railings. So be careful. Overall. It is okay.

Great Location. Beds comfortable. Difficulty controlling temperature inside. Serviced hot tub on Saturday rendering hot tub non usable for entire day and night when we had planned to use after skiing; hot tub service should be scheduled on day of check out to not interfer with renter use. Limited utensils in kitchen...soup and chili weather but only 4 regular spoons. Use of 3 appliances (coffee maker, toaster and electric tea pot) in kitchen tripped circuit breaker. Better attention to cleaning...day 1 of rental our 2 year old grandson found a vape pen on floor near sofa.

We loved how spacious it was. The second fridge downstairs was perfect for our big group. The hot tub was in great working condition, we had no issues with it. All the beds were comfortable. The house is not in pristine condition, but didn’t bother us much. Plenty of cookware. It’s in a wonderful location with nice views, we were visited by a moose. There is construction next door. The construction didn’t bother us too much, but I did feel slightly awkward getting into the hot tub with all the construction workers nearby. I would definitely stay again.

The home was beautiful and clean, the hot tub was clean and looked brand new, the views were great. We even had a visit from a moose on our last morning there. There was enough space for everyone through the house as well.My only complaints were-‱ no firewood, even after requesting it, it never came.‱ construction next door, we could not hear them but it was a bit jarring to look outside at the views and see a bunch of men outside, it was just unexpected.‱ the walk way leading to the house was steep and covered in snow and ice with no salt or sand accessible, I fell twice and my nice did as well.‱ the beds were rock solid.. literally every bed in the house. I personally didn’t mind but a couple people complained in our group, mixed with uncomfortable pillows.‱ if you go in the winter — leave the bedroom doors open to get airflow!!

Pros about this house: plenty of room for our large family. Cons; Accessibilty to get into house. I had my older mother with me and snow on steps and no ice salt. We went out and purchased our own salt. No instruction book for setting thermostats. Hot tub hadn’t been cleaned for quite a while and was not usable. Home is being built right next door so views of construction equipment takes away from the Mountain View’s. We had one day that we had no access to get up driveway as they were pouring cement and work trucks blocking driveway. When I had mentioned to host that I would have booked someplace else had we known about construction she was unaware of the construction as she had not been up to property in months.
