Nice room. Paying a bit more for a river view is money well spent. Friendly front desk. A few blocks off the hub of the restaurants but an easy walk. Take the ferry along the river for an inexpensive tourist view of the city.

The hotel itself is fine, and if you are going to the train station, extremely convenient. But the area around is a bit run down compared with the rest of the city, with several hostels in the area.

Staff were very friendly and well spoken. Room was fairly clean however the silicone on the bathroom was extremely mouldy and needed replacing. The couch and cushions needed a clean and I think the carpet was due for a clean also.

Great central hotel

Very handy to Roma Street station (both suburban and intrastate travel), this is an excellent centrally located hotel. Great hot shower, comfy bed, and clean facilities.
