This low set holiday house is situated in a quiet cul de sac and very centrally located. The property has a private, covered patio at the rear and a grassed, fenced backyard. It is only a short walk to several beaches, including Deadmans and Cylinder Beaches and a short walk to shops, public transport and the Straddie Hotel.

Features: 3 bedrooms (2 queen, 1 double and 1 single), 2 bathrooms, full sized bath, microwave, Smart TV, WIFI, DVD, ceiling fans, screened, gas BBQ and single lock up garage.

Linen supplied and beds made for your arrival.

* Pets allowed. No more than 2 dogs. Outside only, fenced backyard.

Great little Straddy beach house. The interior is neat and modern. Bedrooms are comfy. The outside is nothing fancy but we were happy with that as its pet friendly and el doggo loved it. Nice Weber barbeque on the verandah.

The small house was spacious enough for four adults.The kitchen was recently renovated and stocked with everything we needed. The street was quiet, backyard inviting and an easy walk to the boardwalk even though it was a few streets away.

Wonderful vacation destination

We arrived and were happy with the whole check in process. The house was neat and tidy. We were really happy with the size of the kitchen and being avid cooks, we were very happy with the equipment supplied. Enough cutlery and crockery to feed 12 people was also unusual for a rental!

Suitable for our 2 family needs.

This property has 3 bedrooms, one with an ensuite. Ensuite could do with an update to improve appearance or at least a thorough cleaning of tiles and shower door replacement. Water pressure in shower was great though I found the shower head a bit heavy and bulky. A grab rail could offer security and support getting in and out of the shower as there is a small drop stepping in.Two other bedrooms, 2 and 3 persons. Bed in ensuite room was comfortable. 2 couches, seating for 6 in lounge and 6 seat dining. 👍Updated kitchen was roomy with great storage and benches. 👍Plenty of crockery and cutlery, enough pots, pans and serving dishes. Available storage containers were a mismatch of lids and bottomsâ˜č. Some everyday staples supplied. Outdoor seating for 8.👍Quiet area, access by walking, if inclined to do so.👍Garage and washing machine. This property was very suitable for our 3 night stay. Some general cleaning and basic maintenance would improve the appearance of this house, such as bin cleaning and new broom/ dust pan and brush. Food and water bowls for allowed pets.👍

Lazy Days, Waller Street, Point Lookout

My friend, I, & 2 dogs really enjoyed staying in this low set house in a quiet street. It has spacious living areas, bedrooms, & back patio. Full facilities inside & out. Sleeps 7 in 3 bedrooms & has 2 roomy bathrooms. Enclosed yard for dogs. 10 minute walk to beach. Highly recommend this rental house & I would have no hesitation in renting it again.

Birthday getaway

We stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate my sons 15th birthday. Good location for the price. Can walk to beach and shops and the pub. We had trouble accessing the key, it wasn't in the lock box at 2 pm. I personally think that 2 pm is too late to have check in and so I always try to check in at 2 pm or earlier if possible. The property is old, but they have done an adequate renovation. Just enough to make it usable as a holiday house I would say. We did have trouble with the cooktop on Saturday morning when I tried to make pancakes for my sons birthday. It kept shutting down and not retaining the heat that you need for pancakes. There is a sign on the fridge that says that the cooktop is working fine so clearly they've had other complaints and haven't tested it properly and made changes to repair it. It was a bit dirty. There was a lot of dust and dirt on the floor in places. The shower was great! Nice, hot water and good pressure. We had a koala walk right through our backyard, which was simply incredible, and there are kangaroos hopping around on the street outside at dusk and Dawn.

Basic house but in an excellent location

Great location, walking distance to Foodworks and also the gelati shop (very important), koala in the tree across the road. House was not as clean as we would have liked (unclean dishes in the cupboards) but it had great showers and enough space for the 5 of us and the dog.

Cleanliness and Presintation.

Inside was roomy and clean and comfortable. Outside left a bit to be desired. Front presentation was ruined by a pile of tree debris, and palm fronds in other areas. Found it necessary to hose clean flyscreens in some rooms to allow the breeze through and view outside.
