Easy check in and check out. Room had everything from washer/ dryer to kitchenette. The washer/dryer was a little tricky to operate and i think had one setting. We washed a few loads and they never fully came out dry. We tried to put it on dry only setting and it would do the whole cycle (wash then dry) over again. Great location, shopping and restaurants near by and great for using public transportation.

Yes, go The Rambla! It is a 20 minute walk to South Bank, though the precinct at South City Square is very accommodating with great options. Rooms are clean and quiet, and the hotel staff - excellently helpful 👍
