"Old style but impeccably kept hotel. Like the good old days and it is well located, just two blocks from the train station and three blocks from the Duomo. The rooms and hotel in general are beautiful. The operation is run great and the service is very efficient but don’t expect to get any smiles from the personnel. They do their job, well done but there is a lot of arrogance still. Also the rooms don’t have easy access plugins. I have to use only the one in the bathroom, the others are behind heavy furniture. But I managed fine. The rooms have stocked mini bar that is all complimentary and they do the turndown service adding the chocolates on the pillows (like the good old days of hospitality). But all been said, amazing place, amazing hotel I will definitely come back every time I go to Florence. Loved the attention to details. "
