For a wellness retreat. It was not very pleasant. Told off for trying to bring a coffee back to my room. Staff very rude. Breakfast staff could not be bothered to take cling film off food. Breakfast was very limited. Taps leaking. Rooms were ok.

Falta preocupación por detalles

Amables y atentos comida bien restaurante bien atendidos y rica comida. Falta mantenimiento a la habitaciones techo manchado con humedad había mal olor en algunos sectores de habitación muchos insectos y bichos lo que hacía poco agradable dormir. Habitación dice para 4 adultos pero 4ta cama es un diván y no tenía tapa adecuada, falta más preocupación por detalles.

El hotel es realmente muy lindo y acogedor, le falta un poco de mantenimiento propio del paso del tiempo. El trato, al ser un hotel pequeño es realmente personal y muy bueno. Tienen un patio enorme y hermoso y mas suites todas tienen buena vista y son muy grandes y comodas. La playa de Geriba (a mi criterio la mejor en Buzios) esta a 5 minutos caminando.

Really nice vibe

We had a really nice 3 days stay at Aquabarra. Service is good and provided nice recommendations in buzios. The common spaces are super chilled out and designed with lot of taste. Breakfast was nice and had variety. The spa did not disappoint neither and offered quite fair prices. The area is peaceful and close from Geriba, one of the most beautiful beaches of buzios and less crowded than in the centre. Centre is easily accessible by taxi for $25BR - £5/6€ - Only watch outs would be that the bathroom is very basic: just a simple shower an the "partial ocean views" was not even partial. I would come back with pleasure in coupke or with a group of friends

Pleasantly surprised! Very good hotel.

We were in Buzios just for two nights but were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Although the staff don't speak English, they were always very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean but the wifi is a bit spotty due to the stepped construction of the hotel building. Speaking of which, Aquabarra sits on a hill and has a very homely decor which I quite liked, complete with lounge chairs and open-air couches. The only catch is that it's a 5-7 minute walk from the beach.

Great Place, now everybody pls relax a little

This place tries to be posh, and you might feel a little uneasy when you arrive as a backpacker. Otherwise it is a brilliant stay! + Superb design of the entire place + Best breakfast in 3 weeks + Nice, clean and spacious room + Nice music playing in the background + Cat :) - if you have no car it is a little distance to the beach and to the town (including steep roads) - people working there do not need to be supper happy for me all the time. that does not feel very natural.

Bom, mas não ótimo como pensamos que seria.

O hotel em si é muito bonito, muito verde e a decoração um charme a parte, mas detém do pior café da manhã que já tomei em toda a minha vida! O café da manhã é completamente diferente das fotos, eles servem o que tiver na cozinha, já na sua mesa, 1 fatia de frios cortada ao meio, sendo 1 fatia de presunto e 1 de mussarela. Suco de laranja, se por acaso acabar, não é reposto. No meio da estadia, tivemos um problema com o ar condicionado vazando que foi informado desde o primeiro dia a recepção que molhou completamente as roupas de cama. Internet funciona bem, mas somente no celular. Caso queira assistir algo na televisão, não conseguirá pois a internet é lenta para streaming. Mesmo com todas essas observações, foi uma boa estadia, as praias são lindas e a localização é segura.
