There's a restaurant on site, as well as a coffee shop/cafe. Club Monet Beach Resort By Cocotel also features a children's pool, a garden, and a picnic area. Self parking is free.
Smoking is allowed in designated areas at this 3-star Cabangan hotel.
Need more cleaning and maintenance. The lobby and reception is not welcoming. During the check, we need to find the staff. We did dine once for dinner and there are a lot flies.
Okay some some qualifiers as to why my ratings are what they are. This is an older resort as are many in the area. It is a family run place. The rooms are oddly laid out, with no room for a table & chair. Daily breakfast can be included in your stay & they do offer lunch and dinner. However, all the meat and seafood is frozen so the staff need 1-3 hours to thaw and prep a meal, depending on what your order, so plan ahead. The bathroom is standard Filipino style, so expect a wet floor all the time. As a westerner, this can be annoying but I got used to it mostly. The beach area is great, with 3 cabanas available on a first come basis. Miles of beach to walk and a fairly calm sea on good days. No many dining choices in the immediate area. Bbq grills are there so you can bring and cook your own food. Friendly staff as always. Wifi is available in the rooms and lobby area, along with the beach if your device can find it, mine could not but wifey had more luck. No tv in the room.
Checked out at 727am 9/16-bathroom stinks with urine, the sink fixing under leaking, the ceiling with water damage, floors all over the lobby & hallway, patches of paint missing, lobby with 4 dogs roaming around; a kid as well who lives there? The dining room floor dirty or missing paint?
