Property composed of main house and outbuilding, in the hamlet Braga 5 km from the centre of Caprino Veronese, 15 km from the centre of Garda, on a slope, 15 km from the lake. Heating available only from 05.Oct. - 30.Apr.. 30 m long very narrow motor access to the house. Public parking 200 m on the road. Grocery 5 km, bus stop 1.4 km, railway station "Peschiera del Garda" 30 km, ferry "Torri del Benaco" 22 km. Nearby attractions: Verona 40 km, Venezia 150 km. Hiking paths: Monte Baldo 50 m. Das große Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Schlüsselhalterin wohnt gleich nebenan und ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da sie nur Italienisch spricht sollte man ein Übersetzungstool bereit haben. Nachts ist es äußerst ruhig und wir haben in den großen Doppelbetten sehr gut geschlafen. Das man nicht mit dem Auto bis vor das Haus fahren konnte, hat uns nicht gestört. Bei viel Gepäck ist eine kleine Sackkarre hilfreich. Da im Haus viele Treppen sind, ist es für sehr kleine Kinder und Personen, die nicht gut zu Fuß sind, nicht zu empfehlen. Einkaufen kann man im nahegelegenen Caprino Veronese. Dort gibt es zahlreiche Geschäfte und einen großen Migross-Supermarkt mit Metzger und Bäcker. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse am Haus ist spektakulär und wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Een heerlijke vakantie

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in Casa Stella in het dorpje Braga. De omgeving is schitterend , het huis perfect en de Italiaanse buren die ons de sleutels van het huis gaven , waren de liefste buren die je maar kunt hebben. We hebben zeer genoten!

Schöne Tage mit Blick auf den Gardasee

Unser Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus war sehr schön. Für den Check-in erwartete uns eine sehr nette, ältere aber leider nur italienisch sprechende Nachbarin. Mit einer Übersetzungsapp klappte die Kommunikation einigermaßen und auch während der Urlaubswoche versuchten wir mit ihnen einige nette Worte zu wechseln. Nachdem leider die Gastherme kein warmes Wasser mehr produzierte war die Nachbarin ebenfalls sofort vor Ort um uns zu helfen. Leider ohne Erfolg doch der Handykontakt zu den Hausbesitzern war umgehend möglich und sie schickten gleich einen Handwerker der sogar am späteren Abend noch kam um uns wieder eine warme Dusche zu ermöglichen. Danke für die schnelle Hilfe. Wir nutzen auch den Tipp der nahegelegenen Pizzeria Macroni. Die Pizza war sehr lecker. Wichtig vielleicht noch zu erwähnen das es vor Ort keinen eigenen PKW-Stellplatz gibt und mit einem größeren Auto nicht direkt ans Haus gefahren werden kann. Einige Meter vorher muss man sich wie die Einheimischen einen manchmal abenteuerlichen Parkplatz am Straßenrand suchen 😉 Rundum waren wir aber sehr zufrieden, gute Ausstattung und sehr sauber.
